Note: "from that perspective"

As I said, based on the little information I knew, which I mentioned I didn't have experience with the series, based on that perspective of the material I seen I was under the presumption that only Nintendo characters were used in Smash Bros.  I've since been corrected twice since posting, now thrice.  Smash Bros isn't a game I play, I only own Nintendo handhelds and a N64.

Well, you can get Smash Bros 64, and the next Smash Bros for 3DS later. Sorry, i didn't read the other comments.

Since KH3 isn't coming to the WiiU, 0.01% chance. Ignoring that, it's still low chance.

It's grand (: I thought it was only out on Wii and Gamecube so far, I know it's coming later to 3DS but there's other games I'd rather buy before it first (:

Got it. You really should play the games though. They're really fun.

But KH3D came to 3DS, which is one of the titles Smash Bros is coming too. Also, 2 other KH games came to DS, and another to GBA. I think he could get in.

Meh, I still feel like Sora has nearly zero percent chance to. As much as I want him in, it won't happen. (And here I am hoping to regret these words)

I understand your reasoning, and i respect it. Im holding onto hope that he might get on.

As much as I'd love to see Sora in Smash Bros 4, it just won't happen. KHIII is being released for PS4 and Xbox One, and not Wii U. It wouldn't make much sense if his newest, most hyped game wasn't even coming to a Nintendo console. Not to mention how difficult it would be to get permission. I just don't think it'll happen, simple as that.

Smash Bros series creator Masahiro Sakurai has revealed that the story mode for Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS
won’t be like the one found in Brawl. The Wii incarnation of Smash Bros
contained the Subspace Emissary which was a sprawling side-scroller
mode with detailed cut-scenes. Sakurai says the single player mode for
Super Smash Bros Wii U and Nintendo 3DS will be different from this, but
wouldn’t reveal anymore details.

“There will be a single player [campaign], but it won’t be like the [subspace Emissary] mode in Brawl.

One thing we can do with the Smash Bros. series that’s unique to us –
because we have all these different disparate characters brought
together – is we can create that sort of fan-movie experience as a
special gift. But now those things are posted on the internet, it
doesn’t really become a gift for people who played the game.”

“What we decided this time around, we’re just going to have [those
movies unlocked] from the beginning. We’re going to have a movie for Wii
Fit Trainer, The Villager and Mega Man and they’ll be viewable right at
the beginning, you can watch those right away.”

"The amount of stress I feel, it s almost to the brink of death,  Sakurai said of designing Smash Bros. s character roster.  Because it s not just a matter of me personally thinking this character or that character is going to be in the game; it s that we also have the game balance, animation, graphics and sound to think about in order to make that character fully fleshed out in that universe. I have to think about all of that when I go through this decision-making process.  Whether it s a minor character or a character that is one of the most highly skilled and most played, if that character is removed from the game, the people who live for that character in Smash Bros. are going to have their feelings hurt.  I think we have to really consider that, so I take a very serious, hard look at that and have empathy for the players who look for these type of characters when we re making these decisions."

I hope Sakurai doesn't end up in the hospital at some point, that would suck for him

So after we got Megaman(I was soo happy I screamed like a little girl) in the next Super Smash Bros

What 3rd party character will be added next??? We had Snake and Sonic in Brawl so it's obvious that they're gonna add another character with Megaman

For me,I think they'll bring Sonic The Hedgehog back for a couple of reasons:

1His moveset is already there so it's easy to program him for the game again rather than adding a new character

2They had a partnership with Sega for 3 Sonic games so it won't make sense not to include him in Smash Bros again

3The three kings of platforming(Mario,Sonic,Megaman) duking it out in the ultimate showdown....HOW AWESOME IS THAT ^_^

Also,If they ever brought Solid Snake back they might put him in the 3DS version,I really doubt he would come back in the Wii U version.

Personally I wanted another character that everyone of you here knows.....but it seems Sonic is the most logical choice for them to make now

I think that there'll be at least four third party characters. Sonic and Snake will make a comeback probably (Also, Snake will be on both versions. It was announced that there will be no version exclusive characters). Namco will probably put in a character or two, but I'm not sure if that'd count as third party since they're developing the game. If they do, I bet it'll be Pacman.

X. They had Link and Toon Link. So why not?

I always like to pray that one day, Banjo will get to make his triumphant return and get into SSB. Le sigh....

(psssst... nintendo choose banjo, you still have rights -sort of- in handhelds, make it happen)

Yknow what? NO! FORGET BANJO, I WANNA MESS UP SOME TEDDIZ AS CONKER!

Praying for Sora.

I would love for Snake to come back. He is one of my favorite characters to play as, and his move set is AMAZING. My favorite move set in the game, actually.

If he came back I would be extremely happy. Make it happen, Nintendo!

Beside Mega Man,Sonic and Snake I don't think we'll get an other 3rd party character, but maybe they could made it:

-Warrior of Light (Final Fantasy 1)

-Anybody from a Dragon Quest game (I'm not familiar with this fanchise)

-Rayman (Pretty much all his games are playable on a Nintendo system and I think Rayman have more exclusive on Nintendo consoles)

-Lloyd Irving (I know they said that the Namco character wouldn't get any special favor, but who knows)

-Siegfried Schtauffen (He wouldn't fit,but I'd like to see he in there)

and

-Simon Belmont!!!!

Y'know what???

Simon Belmont should've been in Smash Bros from the beginning

Ever since I saw Sheik swinging here whip I said to myself:Where is Simon Belmont...

I want them to make Simon look more like his classic incarnation rather than his new look

Castlevania has a long history with Nintendo consoles and I was surprised Simon Belmont didn't make it to Smash yet.

Since Issac was a trophy in Brawl, I hope that he'll be in the game.

Since Issac was a trophy in Brawl, I hope that he'll be in the game.

All of the Brawl's assist trophies should become playable characters

So far we have Skyloft which i was hoping would make its way into the next Smash brothers. But what other stages would you like to see in the next SSB? Maybe we could see a Megaman 2 stage since they are going to have some songs from that game. And maybe would could see a Viridi-themed stages from Kid Icarus: Uprising. Would love to see Viridi make a cameo appearence in the game since she's one of my favorite characters in KI:U.

Okay...List!

Already in:

  • Gerudo Valley (Zelda)
  • Nintendogs Stage (Nintendogs)
  • Skyloft (Zelda)
  • Super Mario World Like Stage (Mario, Obviously!)
  • Spirit Train (Zelda)
  • Dr. Wily's Castle (Megaman)

I want another stage the size of Hyrule Temple.

I'd love Viridi to make a come-back!
