Who would you rather it be, and why?

 

I think Roxas would be a good candidate if he came back because I don't like clones. That and it'd be pretty chock-full of the feeels.

 

I think it's a pretty good chance that someone might die since it would be very unrealistic if 7 people took out all 13 without them killing at least one of them.

I'm not so sure it's possible for somebody to be permanently killed off. I mean look at Xehanort. But if I had to choose I would pick someone I would want Lea to be the one. He already died once as Axel and that was one of the best story scenes in the series, showing that people make sacrifices to defeat the boss. Having him die would be movin and really make the game amazing

But we don't even know who the lights are yet. So how would we know who we would want to die?

 

Also, it's Kingdom Hearts. It's possible for people not to die.

I would cry especially considering the whole point of Kingdom hearts 3 is a happy ending as lately Square has only been giving out sad ones

Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. Besides this would be rather redundant. He's already been there, done that so he deserves a happy ending for once. That and he needs laid

Terra would probably "die" and it'll probably be because he is still with Xehanort and all that crap. 

 

The closest thing we ever got to a "death" was Goofy and he survived. Hopefully someone will die and they will execute it perfectly.

Okay Repliku but I still hope someone else who wasn't an antagonist half the time to be dead, though Terra was literally controlled...he still was a good person without all that Xehanort nonsense. Riku is now a good guy so I hope he "dies" too. Someone gotta "die". 

 

I don't expect any Disney characters to die (hopefully they do or does something like "WOOPS THEY DISAPPEARED INTO AN UNKNOWN DIMENSION BUT NOT DEAD GUYS"). I like character development and sad stories a lot.

No one really returned so I believe they are death. Like the real Axel is death. All the clone thing is a bit confusing to me.

That wouldn't really make for a touching moment, as it would make for a very depressing and sad moment. ALL OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS  WHO WERE LIGHTS SAVE FOR ONE, ARE DEAD. That wouldn't exactly be very touching, if you catch my drift.

Riku would be a good candidate as much as I hate it. It would go with protecting the things that matter, he would sacrifice himself to protect Sora.

I remember the Goofy part. Men that was the one of the most awesome part of KH2.

Well, in my personal opinion, if Terra turns out to be one of the seven lights, then he would be at least one of them that dies.  Think about it: In the end of Birth By Sleep, Terra promised Aqua and Ventus that one day he would set things right.  With that in mind, he'll probably be brought back to the light after Sora and the gang defeat Terranort, thus releasing Xehanort's hold over Terra, and then Terra joins the party.  When the time comes for the final battle, a lot of epic events ensue, and Terra, seeing that his friends are in danger, makes a selfless sacrifice and in his final moments he says: "Aqua, Ven, I told you that I would set things right." And thus, that will be the epic and noble death of Terra, the man consumed by darkness who found redemption in the final battle.  That's just a thought. X3

That is what I think, but it would make sense. His motto, or whatever, is to protect the thing that matters. When he was asked what are the things that matter he said his friends. So he would protect his friends by sacrificing himself. I do hate the idea, but it makes sense. IMO Riku is the most interesting character in the whole series. This also may prove to be good in the long run too because it would possibly push Nomura away from this era of the KH universe for future saga's. I really hope Nomura does not stick with Sora and the gang after this game, future KH games should be in a whole to generation, but same universe.

Nomura has already confirmed that Sora will always remain the main protagonist in future games after the Xehanort Saga
