This might be a dumb question but is kingdom hearts χ coming to other places besides Japan?

Coming to America? What about Europe and Australia? The better question is, "Will Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] have an English version?" It's not a matter of coming to any certain countries when it's online.

Well, it would matter if they chose to IP ban all those outside the region the English version comes out to, though I doubt they would do that. And I do agree, that is a better question.

But they haven't done so with the Japanese version. I know that could have been a possibility, but one version of the game has already been released, and that one didn't have any IP bans, so I highly doubt any other possible versions of the game would have it either.

With the trend of open world full action mmos out there, I wouldn't doubt that they could make a KH mmo actually play similar to KH. Though I think I would like it to be kept non-cannon.

(Since all the worlds were as one before the light of Kingdom Hearts disappeared! ) Kind of like Kingdom Of Amalur...but it would be with a KH style gameplay...Look at me getting all excited about a game that is never happening --'

Please live out your life until time travel got invented and come back in time to tell us if the mmo was ever created or not. Though sadly I feel chi is going to be the best we get...

We don't know. It's just a simple browser game though so it wouldn't be hard for SE to localize it unless they were really lazy.

I doubt it.  SE browser games rarely (or never) are released outside of Japan.  That's where their largest base is.  They may not see any profit in recoding and redesigning graphics with the English Language, while lots of us are on it I doubt it's anywhere near the amount of Japanese players.

The game is free but it is a pay-for-play.  You can pay real money for cards and I assume in the future potions and ethers for energy.  That's how free browser games make money.  A lot of people are willing to pay for virtual goods that'll get them ahead.

Honestly, I understand the feeling and wanting to know what you're doing, but this game is really just not hard to play. In a day just by clicking around you can figure out all of the main components, and anything else can be found here. They don't need to localize it, and at this point, personally I'm on level 53, so I wouldn't even be willing to start over. Just one opinion, it's very possible to play the game if you actually dedicate some time to it, and you're not missing out on a "story" because this game isn't even canonically in the story line last I've heard.

Just because it isn't cannonical, doesn't mean you aren't missing out on a story. It just means you aren't missing out on the main KH story.
