Mine probably was when I first played KH2, I thought the title screen was Roxas for such a long time, even though it was obviously Sora. Probably because he had an icecream in his mouth so I just assumed that it was Roxas.

I think I actually managed to do Terranort around that level aswell on proud mode.

I thought for the longest time that in canon, Sora got his appearance from Vanitas, and not vice-versa.

Getting frustrated with the first game and not touching Kingdom Hearts again until a few years ago.

When I watched the BBS opening years ago before the game came out I thought Ven was Roxas Aqua was Riku and Xehanort was Ansem.

I thought Sora was girl in the very beggining

My second mistake was foolishly assuming Donald would heal my red barrin' rear when fighting Demyx, and died twice.

This. Atlantica was the most confusing world for me when I first played it.

Buying DDD as my first KH game and having absolutely no idea what was going on.

When I first played chain of memories on the GBA I didn't understand how to use 0 cards. I never realized that yu had to use them AFTER someone uses a card. So I would use a 0 card first and immediately get cardbroken. Then I would be like: AAARRRGGGHHH THIS GAME LIED TO ME >:X

 

Not until Re:chain of memories did I understand 0 cards. I'm a little ashamed  :unsure:

Same here except I thought Aqua was Kairi and I don't know who I thought Terra was. I just rewatched the trailer and I started tearing up

My greatest mistake.... in the very beginning where Silphie, Wakka, and Tidus, ask you those questions.

I never knew that these questions determined the difficulty of your game.

So I just took whatever felt most appealing to myself.

Not figuring out I had to press triangle when Xemnas was firing his lazers at Sora and Riku in the final battle of KH2. Riku kept dying.
