To tell the truth, a new character just for the end of the saga doesn't seem a good idea to me. I think it would be best to save it for the upcoming ones

But starting off with a new playable character seems interesting. Kairi is a good idea, considering lots of fans have been waiting to play as her for a while now

Nothing's been confirmed yet, but maybe time flows different in the RoD, and she could have stayed all this time without aging. What explains why she looks the same in the Blank Points in BbS.

Nothing's been confirmed yet, but maybe time flows different in the RoD, and she could have stayed all this time without aging. What explains why she looks the same in the Blank Points in BbS.

Actually, it has been confirmed. Time does not flow as quickly in the Realm of Darkness as in the Realm of Light. Aqua has only really been in the Realm of Darkness for a few months, on Realm of Light terms.

Sounds like the opposite effect of The Hyperbolic Time-Chamber from DBZ(where if you stay years in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber it would have only been a day or so in the outside world)

You should pay more attention to Re: CoM and watch the Days cutscenes. Riku wasn't even in the RoD for more than a day at most. He went to Castle Oblivion afterwards, then after that he was searching for a way to wake up Sora and get his memories back the entire time for over a year until KH2 took place. Remember?

*Spoilers*

Riku stayed in the RoD for very little time. He got out of there almost right after KH1 and appeared in Castle Oblivion, the events on CoM. He drifted there by himself, unconsiously. So, he aged because he was in the RoL

 

By the way, (i think) there's no spoiler policy for games that were released so long ago... Try to avoid reading posts regarding past events on games you haven't played...

well there's supposed to be some shit about how time moves faster in the RoD so she won't age much. I think it's just that SE is too lazy to make a Aqua look slightly older with longer hair.Apart from that, she would technically be in her 20s since she was like 17-18 in BBS
