Did you prefer Birth by Sleep or Dream Drop Distance?

For me its kind of a tossup, they both have their strengths and weaknesses but overall, i really enjoy them both. Plus, their stories are really amazing in my opinion.

I enjoyed Birth By Sleep more. Dream Drop Distance was kind of boring, and didn't even have much plot until the end; however I enjoyed Riku's story. Sora's attitude changed way to cocky and I just couldn't stand him in it. I know BBS does this too, but I just cant stand not having an mp bar.

I liked bbs because there was more of a challenge and shot locks kick ass

I loved both but if i had to choose it would be BBS bc i play it the most .

BBS. Command melding > Petting Dream Eaters

It's story was also better (and you know, actually present).

I love command melding. I hope it's in KH3. Nomura make it happen ! xD

I say BBS because I keep coming back to that game again and again, Terra Aqua and Ven are my fave trio and Terra's my fave character period.

Also DDD made me ANGST so much, and I was expecting Terra Aqua and Ven to get saved in DDD ever since one of the Japanese trailers was released, but of course, that didn't happen so xP

Dat sig.....:)

Birth By Sleep had a better story and DDD was just EASY, unlike BBS. Square made a lot of effort on BBS, than on DDD in my opinion.

BBS had a development cycle of about 5 years.. DDD had around 2.. And it shows with the games. BBS is 100 times better. Plot, combat, relevance all are better in BBS. 3D has no story until the last 5 minutes. The ways in which you get commands and grow was tedious and annoying. It was much more fun and rewarding in BBS.

This really depends on the individual's personal preference, whether they like the idea of a KH pets game basically or multiple stories etc.  I personally love BBS, though probaby because there was a Mage-based character, and my favourite fighting style in anything is mage.

I love how everyone's saying BBS was challenging... I thought BBS was the easiest in the series, and found DDD to be one of the more challenging games in the series.

I love both, this is a really tough question. Of course, BBS had the command melding, which I have a love-hate relationship with, as well as the weird storyline pacing. BBS also had those horrible Command Boards, which I absolutely loathe 100%. DDD had Flowmotion, which I thought was really fun, and I loved raising my Dream Eaters (Probably because I'm a Pokemon fan), so I'll probably have to go with Dream Drop Distance for my favorite of the two.

I never played Dream Drop Distance, so I pick Birth By Sleep. That is my favorite video game next to KH2.

Plus the story was amazing, and I enjoyed playing as 3 characters.

I like BBS more but DDD is really really close. BBS had an amazing story and changed the way you thought about KH. DDD just a bridge to KH3.

I prefer ddd when it comes to gameplay and the characters, but i feel like Sora and Riku didn't have much character development. ddd probably wins when it comes to extra characters, because they had the whole twewy gang, whereas bbs only had Zack Fair (if Angeal was in it, things might have been different). bbs wins when it comes to storyline, character development, and the online capabilities. I really enjoyed how there were three different stories and how they intertwined, and i feel like they grew together and became better friends throughout the whole experience. The mirage arena definately tops the link portals in terms of online capabilities. I felt like i really needed my friends as i got further in the arena and soon enough, i relied on them and they relied on me. Overall, i'd have to say i prefer bbs.

All that in five minutes, but i still can't write a paragraph for school.

I feel like BBS were more the better game overall, DDD was quite boring if you ask me. The flowmotion for me ruin the game, it's suck that you couldn't turn it off completely. I find myself spamming flowmotion, then I ever pressing the a button. I even tried too stop using flowmotion, but yet I always end up jumping off the wall.

Hands down BBS for me. I think it has the best fighting system and it has 3 characters with different fighting styles and the story is really just amazing and it's no doubt one of the best video games ever.

They both sucked, so there.

WHAT!I never though I'd hear such a thing here.

Ive seen playthroughs of BBS and 3D, plus ive played 3D. First off, it looks to me that BBS and 3D are the harder games of the series. I like 3D alot, even if its story was lacking for most of the game. BBS had story all the way through though, but they both seem equally fun. Its hard for me to choose, but i think i choose 3D over BBS, since it was my first KH game ever.

Never played BBS so DDD :)

DDD over BBS. Just because of Sora and Riku :).

I didn't bother much to use shot lock.

The story by BBS is kinda weird just to much princesses.

Joung Tarzan or Jungle Book could save it.
