Posted January 14, 201411 yr Popular Post Wi,l they ever let Ash win instead of losing in the league all the time? I mean for once just let him win a tournament so he doesn't look like a noob all the time.
January 14, 201411 yr Popular Post They probably won't let him win until they decide to end the series. Or at least, that's my best guess. On another note, why does he keep leaving his strongest pokemon with Prof. Oak? Of course he's never going to win the championship when he keeps going in with unevolved starter pokemon all the time!
January 14, 201411 yr once the series ends then he will win a pokemon league Edited January 14, 201411 yr by darkventus
January 14, 201411 yr the pokemon company probably wants to still have ash strive for his dreams so the viewer can be more interested. if he wins the pokemon league, he wins the title pokemon master, ergo accomplished his dream and he no longer has that good of a reason to keep journeying to the new regions.
January 14, 201411 yr Wi,l they ever let Ash win instead of losing in the league all the time? I mean for once just let him win a tournament so he doesn't look like a noob all the time. We gave up on this question long ago buddy I just don't get it,even if he won one league that doesn't mean he can't travel to another region after that Heck he won the Orange Islands and the Battle Frontier so why the hell can't he do it in the Pokemon League every league is a regional tournament,he can win and STILL travel to another region to win other regional tournaments And don't get me started on the poor Pokemon that he shoved into Oak's lab, never to be seen again and have their lives wasted when they could've been with another trainer If Ash didn't get a Mega evolution in Kalos,I'll be so pissed off the pokemon company probably wants to still have ash strive for his dreams so the viewer can be more interested. if he wins the pokemon league, he wins the title pokemon master, ergo accomplished his dream and he no longer has that good of a reason to keep journeying to the new regions. Again as I told Tails Even if he won one league that doesn't mean he can't travel to another region after that Heck he won the Orange Islands and the Battle Frontier so why the hell can't he do it in the Pokemon League every league is a regional tournament,he can win and STILL travel to another region to win other regional tournaments Hell,Cynthia, the champion of the Sinnoh region, traveled to Johto(the Arceus event) and Unova even after she became the champion so why Can't Ash do the same Edited January 14, 201411 yr by Metal Snake

Instead of just giving away all his good Pokemon to Oak and starting out with new Pokemon. If he had kept his old Pokemon and trained with them more he would have been a strong trainer.
January 14, 201411 yr Yeah but it would be nice to see him actually win for once. Instead of just giving away all his good Pokemon to Oak and starting out with new Pokemon. If he had kept his old Pokemon and trained with them more he would have been a strong trainer. Exactly,I want him to win,but the writer of the anime(who is never as good as the games writers not ever close) just don't want that Ash has tons of Good Pokemon other than the damn Pikachu and I can list most of them now: Charizard Snorlax Tauros Sceptile Infernape Gliscor Torterra Staraptor Donphan Krookodile Leavanny and the list goes on What kind of selfish friend Ash is?? He just only loves the damn Pikachu clearly and doesn't care about the thousands of Pokemon he caught and ruined their lives
January 14, 201411 yr So long as Pokemon games continue to be made, the anime will continue. His fluctuating competence has nothing to do with his character, and everything to do with allowing the show to last for as long as possible. Ash can only get so strong before his skill and power with his Pokemon would be able to eliminate just about any kind of conflict. Imagine if Red was in the picture instead. He'd dominate just about any trainer he comes across--Bug Catchers, Team Rocket/Plasma/etc, what have you. It'd be cool, and it'd make sense, but there wouldn't be enough conflict to keep you engaged, unless they kept throwing Legendaries or a world crisis at him each episode. Ash leaving behind his strongest Pokemon serves to 1) preserve the drama handicap so he can't just make Charizard Flamethrower the crap out of everything, and 2) show off the region's new Pokemon. As for his skill, well, Status Quo is God. The writers like him to have a fresh start each time, even if it means undoing everything he learned up until that point. It amazes me how often people blame Ash's incompetence on the character himself, and not the Powers That Be. So no, it's unlikely Ash will ever go beyond where he is.
January 14, 201411 yr You know, he can win a PL and still have the series continue. There's the Champion League after all. Will it happen? Maybe not but you never know.

I don't think so, so why the hell did he even capture it!!!? Edited January 14, 201411 yr by TheKingdomkid

I don't think so, so why the hell did he even capture it!!!? Nope, his Squirtle is still in the Firefighter Squirtle squad and from what we've seen about it so far it's still a Squirtle

Dude he can still win a league and continue the show heck the games aren't even connected to the anime except for a couple of characters. I don't mind Ash having a fresh start but he keeps on falling in the same beginners trap he fell in every region Sometimes he forget typing, doesn't weak a Pokemon before catching it,fall for a very obvious disguise that Team Rocket is putting.....etc Edited January 15, 201411 yr by Metal Snake
January 15, 201411 yr if ash got third place with a butterfree and a bulbasaur using vine whip and stun spore in the first season, then i'm pretty sure that he'll never win.
January 15, 201411 yr if ash got third place with a butterfree and a bulbasaur using vine whip and stun spore in the first season, then i'm pretty sure that he'll never win. To be fair In the first season he could've won if his Charizard wasn't so disobedient
January 15, 201411 yr As long as Pokemon games are made, Ash will continue his journey forever, so yeah, he won't ever win until the very end of the Pokemon franchise, which should be at a good two thousand years from now. Oh, and the darn bastard never ages. He's been like what, friggin 12 for over a decade?
January 15, 201411 yr Author To be fair In the first season he could've won if his Charizard wasn't so disobedient Yeah while Ash's charizard is awesome. It was really disobedient and simewhat underpowered until Ash left it to go train at that Charizard training place.
January 15, 201411 yr Orange Islands League and Frontier Brains don't count? I'm pretty sure they count as an official league, especially the Frontier Brains.
Wi,l they ever let Ash win instead of losing in the league all the time? I mean for once just let him win a tournament so he doesn't look like a noob all the time.
