One of my favorite heartless was the Behemoth from KH1. The thing that was unique about it was that it was the only heartless based off of a FF monster. I've always wanted more heartless(or other enemies) based off of FF monsters. What do you guys think?

What i think is that if something is based on something doesn't it make it not unique at all?

I want things more horrific and terrifying. Maybe something that would aim at devouring Sora's Reikon and releasing a Yurei that he must then fight using only the light of his heart. 

Actually, that sounds neat. Not every Heartless obviously, but it'd be cool to fight against some FF-inspired monsters. Only the ones that fit, mind. I wouldn't care to see a Heartless based off of a Goblin or something because that's just generic fantasy crap anyway. But maybe a Catoblepas or something would be pretty sweet.

Since I'm not well into FF (I have recently bought/been given several games but I'm waiting til I complete what I've started before I start all them) I don't really care if they have FF based monsters or not, I wouldn't recognize any that aren't from FFXIII since that's the one I've played the most of.

In my opinion ,the KH Final bosses based on FF-- Giantic vomitcoloredbattleshipXehanort in KH 1, same in 2.

Well,the Nobodies had more monsters based on FF...well,more based on the Job classes than the monsters themselves

 

Speaking of which,did you guys noticed that each member of the organization actually represent a job class from Final Fantasy?

I agree, but I think it should only be the most recurring monsters. Like a boss based on Gilgamesh that wields four (obviously fake) Keyblades or the Cactuar like MasterXemnas said, things like those.

Look at the lesser Nobodies each one commands. The KH2 members, anyway. For CoM, there's less certainty, but you could probably say something along the lines of:

 

Zexion = Blue Mage/Mime

Marluxia = Dark Knight (all the death-related spells)

Larxene = Ninja

 

Haven't figured what ones suit Vexen and Lexaeus, don't feel like it right now.

Vexen=a Black mage or Alchemist

 

Lexeaus=Warrior or Barbarian

Axel=an Assassin

 

Demyx=I think he's a black mage but I'm not sure

 

Luxord=Gambler

Roxas=Samurai(he controls the Samurai Nobodies and has a clash attack similar to a Samurai when you fight him in KH2FM)
