Do you think that playing video games is something that you could easily stop if you wanted?

Umm. Yes.

If they stopped making Kingdm Hearts games, otherwise why would I want to stop?

To tell the truth its harder for me to give up on video games because of nostalgia.

There are times where I think about quitting video games (other than playing NBA 2k14 against my brother).

In terms of not playing video games for a long amount of time, I can live with that, but personally, I could never bring myself to give up on playing video games, and it's not because I'm addicted or it's a vice that I cannot control.  It's because video games offer a unique form of entertainment that many other forms of media cannot accomplish, and plus, video games are a great time killer, and they can relieve stress when you've got too many things in your mind, plus, you can always engage in interesting conversations about games with your friends.  So I say that it would be hard for me to give up on this hobby I love so much.  As long as I enjoy it in moderation, I don't have a problem.

Hmm, well I know for a fact that I can go long stretches without touching a video game. However, I would not be able to just never play another game again.

 

Plus, 80% of my time on the internet is spent on gaming sites. If I gave up games, then I would have no use for those gaming sites. Losing both gaming time and internet time would leave huge chunks of my days just, empty. I mean, there's a ton of things I could substitute for them, but obviously if I preferred to be doing those things I wouldn't spend my time online and playing games.

Nope not at all. I've learned things I never would have if I didn't play video games....plus it opened up a whole new world (a new fantastic point of view) in art and technology that I'm fascinated with and want to work for.

College = no time for video games. So yeah I could and I have.

I COULD stop playing Video Games, not that I'd want to, but if I REALLY HAD TO, or for whatever reason I'd need to stop, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Honestly, without trying beforehand, it'd be very hard for me to say...

Like Gingell, I could stop playing, but wouldn't  want to, unless I have a reason or no choice in it.

Perhaps... but I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

I gave up on playing video games when I was in high school, I more then likely will again when I go to a 4- year college.

 

but it will be tough though.

I can give up for a short time, but considering that I want a job in the industry, I kinda HAVE to play games.

That would be like trying to stop me from eating for the rest of my life.

Well , it'd be easy and hard at the same time ....

I can stop and play the game at any time,that's why it called "Pause".

Wouldn't be too hard, since I don't play games too often... But I just don't see any reason to ^^

Yes.  I've gone for months without playing.   I don't see why I would ever have to.

Video games are a great part of my life i could never stop completely. If I have to i would stop as long as i have to, to finish the things i have to do. However anymore than this would be like forcing me not to drink or to breath.

Yea I actually stopped playing games for a while some time now.

Playing games, sure.Buying games, though... that's kind of a separate problem. lol

Spent 2 whole years without touching a video game, but right now I don't know
