Hayden (Kairi) posted a pic on twitter saying that she's working on a video game. Do you think it could be KH3? Maybe Square is going motion capture now?

Source?

It might not be for a KH game at all, might be a new project. I highly doubt its for 2.5 because they wouldn't be doing Mocap for a remaster of a nearly 10 year old game.

It's probably not Kingdom Hearts related because she looks like she was doing some machinima type thing and plus she said she was shooting for a video game so it's probably like a live action type game kinda like how The Last of Us is but who knows but again I have to say probably not Kingdom Hearts related plus if you look at the tweet it's from January so yeah it was pretty long ago

Well, she didn't mention the name of the game...and why would she voice Kairi all over again for 2.5? It's not for kh2.5 that's for sure... it could be another KH game? :O

But didn't Nomura said that there will be no other new game after DDD before KH 3 comes out  :/ ...this would mean if it is another Kingdom Hearts game it will be Kingdom Hearts 3, or not  :O

Probably not KH, but if it were to be a KH game, I'd say KH3.

I'm pretty sure ''Kingdom Hearts'' is the only Video Game series she's worked on, but I wouldn't be surprised if another company hired her for their game.

This is definitely not related to Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMix.My money is on that this is not related to Kingdom Hearts III either, but it does bring up an interesting discussion. I know a similar technique was used for The Last of Us and Beyond Two Souls, but is it quicker? Is it cheaper? IF they WERE to use motion capture for Kingdom Hearts III, wouldn't EVERY voice actor have to go through this motion capture process, and wouldn't that be time consuming?Again, doubt it is Kingdom Hearts III, but still something to ponder.

Geez guys, don't you think it would be just great if SE used motion capture for the cutscenes? It would make Kingdom Hearts characters' movements smoother! :D

EDIT: for Kingdom Hearts III cutscenes I meant xD

It could be KH3 but would they really be doing voice/mo-cap at this point in development? Especially for English voices. It could easily be some other project that isn't KH related.

Also she might be allowed to say it was for a game, but she might not be allowed to disclose what game it was until later on in production. And like others have said, it might not even by a KH game.

There are no new cutscenes in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix concerning Kairi.

Kairi doesn't have any dialogue in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded to be recorded. Also, they aren't using motion capture for the Re:coded cutscenes anyway.

Kingdom Hearts III is far too early in development for them to be recording English voices.

Also this tweet is from January. Kingdom Hearts III was still being written and the Re:coded cutscenes weren't close to being done yet.

So plain and simple. This has NOTHING to do with the Kingdom Hearts series. This is for a different video game assumingly developed in North America.
