Looking at this manga cap of Kairi, when I realize there is blood oozing from her cheek

 

 

Is there another scene in the manga with blood pictured? Because this is the first time I've seen it...maybe in the scene from CoM, where Namine is tied on thorns? It has to have been.. I just don't remember when.

 

I'm starting to think blood being the game would be neat, but then the rating would be too high or it would censored like KH2.

I think the series does need to be a little less censored. Like in the NTSC/PAL versions of KH2 they took out the blood from hydra when it died.

Disney would not allow blood.

We need blood like we the laws of physics. And by that I mean: we don't need it.

that was stupid cuz the Hydra's green blood was already in the movie that "MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WATCHED"

 

Though the one thing that pissed me off is that how awesome the final confrontation with Marluxia in the CoM manga compared to how underwhelming it was in the actual game

They changed Xigbar's sweet-looking sniper rifle to two pistol-like crossbow things and changed his target sighting from a sniper scope to three weird little symbols all pointing in the same direction or whatever. (Because that's...better?)

 

Not to mention they 'censored' Daisy giving Donald a beating because it was a sort of compromising position. (Despite the fact that Disney themselves did this same damn shit in the 40's and 50's) 

 

EDIT: AAAAND they edited out the little fires by Axel while he was dying because...it's bad?

 

And in the Final Mix, they actually kept most of these changes except for Axel's little fires. Because that was probably the stupidest change.

Well, in the original Japanese KH2 they had many things that were changed drastically in the American/European KH2:

• In the Pirates of the Caribbean world, the Undead Pirates originally caught fire when a fire spell was used on them in the Japanese version and when Will Turner reveals who he is, he has the Pistol pointed at his head, just like in the MOVIE. But in the English version, the Pirates don't catch fire and Will points the gun at the ground.
• Most people know about this one; When Xigbar uses his Sniper attack in the Japanese Version he combines his Arrowguns in to a rather cool-looking Sniper Rifle complete with Sniper Reticule. But in the English Version, he doesn't combine them and the Reticule looks...stupid. However, in KH2FM, he still combines his Arrowguns and the Reticule is the Sniper one. I hope this stays for KH2.5.

There are many more little changes but I'm not going to go into them, instead I'll point out something from BBS:

 

When Terra fights and defeats Braig, the game actually shows Terra using the Power of Darkness to shoot out Braigs EYE and scarring his cheek and we even catch a glimpse of the damaged cheek when he is recoiling in pain before Mario-Jumping away.

 

When I saw that I thought: "Jesus! This is getting serious now!" I would actually welcome some visible signs of damage and injury from fights in KH.

The KH manga has a tiny bit of it, and Roxas has a cut cheek in KH II vol. 2

KH will never have "real human blood"... It's a Disney (and Square Enix) title after all.

I don't really care too much. We got blood in KH2 (just a little) when Captain Barbosa cut that one guys hand and dropped the medallion in the chest.

Yeah, I was just picking at the whole "censoring thing" in general, not you. It really is weird though how this franchise censors some things (usually tiny things) and allows others. You're definitely right about that! O.O

Yes I want blood (not excessive amounts though), I think it would be really cool in a cutscene

I think blood would be a great addition to the series (not excessive amounts) but in cut scenes like for say "SPOILER" (((((in KH3 when Kairi gets stabbed in the back, instead of fading into nothingness she should of gotten stabbed/hit hard in the back (and since its disney) only a cough of blood to the mouth and then fall to the ground, with soras heart breaking scream)))))

 

Thats only one example and for people saying "its disney they'd never add blood". Well for a stupid example, dorys nose bleed in finding nemo, UP when the granpa hits someone on the forehead with his cane and I think theres some more in that movie, Pirates of the carribean in general and the last one I can think of is tarzan when the cougar/jaguar leaves a bloody trail with bloody footprints. ALL of these were just suttle blood but like I said, just suttle blood to this game would make it all the more emotional when we need it.
