Kids these days think the game boy is junk

Featured Replies

Come on Flash. It was before their time.

(Should I be talking even though I never had one either? ;/)

Cute lol I still have my original Gameboy but I don't know where it is.

The comment section in every single of these people's videos is complete utter garbage.

I'm 13. I played this. It was good. My bro gave it to me.

I hope this is scripted.

Because...I didn't like the way they put the game in.

"It looks like a phone."

"You mean there's no APPS?"

"Did you REALLY enjoy playing this?"

"I feel bad for those in the past."

Honestly. Just, I wasn't alive when that was a very popular thing. And..just...NO.

"That would never happen in this generation." OF COURSE NOT! Things have improved graphics, so of course now that'd be crap, but it's still good if you don't have anything else.

Elle, Thomas and Dylan were KINDA awesome. :P

I dunno. This'ss just me.

Also, I didn't like the way they swayed the things around.

Most of the things they said were true, apart from the "no good games" thing. Having an original Gameboy would be cool but the games can be played on anything from a phone to a computer. So the actual hardware is heavily outdated and essentially junk, apart from its retro appeal.

it's an Iphone case

I played with one when I was younger, but like a lot of my gaming stuff, it was borrowed.

"Wait, I've seen this case before... It's an iPhone case."

Merging stuff

Humanity getting more ignorant one child at a time.

This honestly isn't something to worry about. These kids are years beyond the Gameboy. They've grown up, pampered with the new age of technology. If anyone should be disgraced it's the generation who doesn't teach the newer generation.

Kids nowadays are used to iPhones, Tablets, and such. It's no surprise that they would react so badly about the Game Boy.

Each system has something different to offer. The Game Boy gives out experiences that Tablets and iPhones can't give, but the same goes for those as well.

I've grown with a Game Boy, and I can say that I loved it. My dad grew with the NES, and he loved it. My younger cousins grew with the Nintendo DS, and they loved it.

Each of us have a different approach to other's gadgets. My dad doesn't understand how I grew with the Game Boy, and my cousins don't understand how my dad grew with the NES.

They're all different experiences, and different opinions.

It's not fair that we're the only ones that can judge what people like, and what they grow up with.

It's not the worst one they've done and I guess I can kind of understand why they find the technology hard to relate to, after all one kid mentioned it wasn't that good because you had to press buttons instead of having a touch screen read your input. Like, I guess we can facepalm at it all we want but that's because we understand exactly what the Game Boy is/was. At least not every kid on that video was clueless so I can respect the ones who knew of it.

The worst one though was the Kids reacting to Ducktales. One of the girls said, "this is from the 80s/90s? I thought cartoons back then were in black and white".... Like, I just couldn't.

I do wonder if some of it is scripted though.

I agree talk to the girls in my class!

If everything goes safe everything is fine.

What do kids these days? well here

  • having sex on the age of ten or eleven. ASK THE GIRLS ON MY SCHOOL! THEY HAVE EXPERINCE!
  • Kids these days think that murder is the only option!
  • Kids ONLY PLAY COD these days.
  • Kids are more agressive these days
  • Kids are using drugs more these days
  • Kids are getting more fat these days
  • Kids are more lazy
  • Kids know what rapers are on the age of 5 or 6. In england some stupid children played raper when GTA 5 got out AND NO NOBODY GOT RAPED... probably.

DO I MISS ANYTHING!?

Wait what is wrong with that?

You're generalizing here. My brother's barely in middle school, and he's never even touched CoD or GTA, let alone played it. He actually plays Mario, Portal, and other games like that.

Oke... Sorry I only see that last days and I'm in my pibert state sorry for... Things

I'm in my puberty state sorry if I was you know and it also looks like I have problems placing coments

There was a bonus video for this and one of those girls was asking this question:
"Did you have TV back then? Did it have color?"
