Sure I felt the pins were stupid but I didn't lose my shit over it like the rest of this fanbase

Sure it sucks,but its not really a big deal,who knows they might be testing what people would like with this.

The only reason why I'm so pissed about it, is because they had a survey and everything to make sure they had a solid idea of what the fans wanted, and THEN they throw this at us. 

 

Had they not done the survey I probably wouldn't have been surprised.

I wasn't bothered about the pin. The pin was cool to me. So what. We get a pin while Japan has a collector's edition with its contents. I'm really not all that hot and bothered about it like other fans. For an example: If my brother DID purchased that 2.5 collector's edition, he might give me the book and CD since I'm into Kingdom Hearts and he might not want it. IF he wants it...

Thanks to him, he gave me Pokemon X and a used 3DS with the Kingdom Hearts 10th Anniversary case, that used to be his friend's (long story). 

I digress.

I'm just not bothered about it, because it's just materialistic thing. 

I would have preferred another art book, but oh well.

I think 1.5's artbook was a PRE-ORDER BONUS, and this pin is a Limited Edition. We might get another thing

I took a survey, items that included a Wayfinder, artbook, soundtrack, plusies, figurines, keyblade keychain. Did we get any of those? No. It's like, someone putting a bone in front of a dog and taking it away simply because they can. I've said this before, this "limited edition" was the straw that broke the camel's back. I disagree with things HMK says but he made probably the greatest statment known to man. "With a mindset like 'Oh at least we get something.' Let's the developers know that people are ok a half-butt bonus (which btw was just ripped off the cover of Re:Coded) and gives them the excuse to do it again and again." If Square tries to pull what they did here with KH3, there WILL be riots. Sometimes you have to put your foot on the ground and say enough is enough.

It's just a pin. Nothing to get worked up about. Sure, after the survey, it's odd. But for all we know, that's for KH3.

Totally agree with you, I had great hopes in the Survey. But yeah, that's not a big surprise that they won't release any Limited Edition outside Japan (and people reacts like it's the first time  :dry: )

While I'll admit the pins aren't the best preorder bonus in existence, I've never felt they were anything to fuss over.
