This is such bullshit. I am sure many of you have heard by now that Rise of the Tomb raider will be exclusive to Xbox One. We all know Microsoft is desperate at this point since the PS4 is outselling the XB1 3:1, and their desperation has just shown once again. I REALLY hope Sony pays Square Enix millions of dollars to make BOTH FFXV and KH3 PS4 exclusive. That will really stick it to microsoft and their bullshit.

Hey Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV are going to be amazing games

 

The more people who can enjoy those masterpieces the better I feel, I'm very for Sony myself as there are few titles on the Xbox that interest me but I'm more than willing to share these beautiful works of art on both consoles if it means a wider audience can enjoy them and possibly get more fans

Microsoft offered a lot of money to compete with Uncharted. That much is clear. This is very strange by Square Enix but I guess it must have a ton for them to do this. Crystal Dynamics I bet played a part in this though.

Sony buying exclusivity to FFXV and PS4 would probably bankrupt them lol. Sony is in no position to buy 3rd party exclusive games like Microsoft is.

So SE complains about the profits of Tomb Raider even though it sold well and fired some of the marketing people.  And then they hire new marketing people and look at how smart they are!  It's like SE wants to lose money. I just don't get it.

god, seeing the title in the front page almost gave me a mini heart attack. dont do that. 

 

after reading this, i realised that this doesn't affect me that much. i dont play tomb raider,

 

i dont really care as long as the titles im interested will still be available for sony products like kh and ff. sharing them is perfectly fine. it just builds the fan base.

It's just this negative stigma Microsoft brought to itself with last year's disaster of a console reveal even though when you actually look at it now the Xbox One is a decent console....it's just Microsoft's stupid decision that gave them this bad reputation

 

But hey,at least for once there is something we can call exclusive instead of remasters of 1 year old games

Not exactly. Square Enix owns Crystal Dynamics who develops the new Tomb Raider games.

I'm not an Xbox guy, but I'm not the type to bash a system because I don't like it. But yeah, if it was PS4 exclusive, no one would care. I can understand being upset about a game not coming to the console someone has, but people are overreacting about this. It's cool that Xbox is getting more exclusives for the people who like the systems, and the people who use PS4 have plenty of other games they can play. A third party game being exclusive isn't the end of the world. This is going to become the next Bayonetta 2, geez.

I've never played a Tomb Raider game,so I don't really care about that whole situation,but it does sucks for the Tomb Raider fans that own a PS4.I can only imagine if the next installment of the Tales serie or Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy is an Xbox exclusive,I'd probably be angry as well since I can't afford to waste money on an Xbox console.

 

I think that 3 party games should never be available only on one console so that everyone can enjoy the games,but business is business and there's nothing we can really do about it and as a Nintendo fan,I'm used to ''X game is not coming on your console for X reason''.

Square producing a game exclusively for one system? Wouldn't be the first time.......

What makes this enjoyable for me? Phil Spencer is extremely desperate. He is determined to make Microsoft win out this generation. I'm not even worried about the exclusiveness of somethings for Xbox One. What I see is money wasted on a single game when they could have used that money to make a better concept for their failing console.

Sony dropped a bomb with the whole 10 million PS4s sold and Nintendo's marketing the correct way again...Microsoft gets Rise of the Tomb Raider exclusively to its consoles. 

I'm sorry, but...what happened to that 4.1 million Xbox Ones? What happened to your marketing? You're not even one step closer to claiming this generation of gaming, Mr. Spencer.
