This was funny it actually reminded me that Troy Baker was Snow and during some of his lines I'm like, wow that's a Kanji line lol, still I enjoyed Final Fantasy XIII and this is funny

Yeah I remember you posting your Persona 3 playthrough a while back,I finished that game a while ago right after I was done with P4 Golden and let me tell ya,Persona 3 broke my heart......in a good way of course ^_^

Lightning isn't groundbreaking, every single point that the author stated was exactly what happened to cloud in theFF7 universe, just because lightning is a woman doesn't change the fact her entire character development is a ripoff of cloud's. She doesn't do anything new EXCEPT be a solo female character on the cover box so as to why the author ispraising her personality when other female characters have already gone through more than lightning will ever go through, like Ashe for example, and still carry the same demeanor I have no idea, and the very fact that the author can only state recent Square enix games kind of solidify that he has no idea what he is talking about in terms of a strong FF female protagonist.

Everything you said I agree with, except with Lightning being the first solo FF female being on the cover box. Terra was the only one on the FF6 gameboy advance cover box, and that came out before FF13

In a press release, Square Enix has announced the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy is hugely successful.

 

And it seems Steam users would agree, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is getting very positive reviews and is currently the 4th highest rated Final Fantasy title on Steam. It also has a 9.1 userscore on Metacritic

 

I loved XIII and XIII-2, and I'm sure that I'll love Lighting Returns as well when I get it!

 

But you know, it's funny!  A lot of people seem to have a distaste for these games, kind of like how many people don't like the Star Wars Prequels!  There are those people that love the XIII trilogy, some that are okay with it, and some that are downright resentful of it!  Honestly, I love the XIII Trilogy, and yes, I've played other numbered entries in the series such as I, III, IV, and Crisis Core! (If you count that as part of the numbered series, since it's the VII-0 of the VII series, so yeah.) I happen to love the XIII Trilogy, and it's quite fun!

Do I sense FFXIII's involvement with other projects? This game brings me back to when I first got my PS3, so it has my full support if so.

What do you mean? Like characters appearing in other titles? Well they do. Lightning's been in all the spin-offs since and is almost certain for KH3.

Well technically all the Type-0 and Agito games are in the same universe, same with XV. It seems Toriyama is making X-3 now.

Agito got terminated. It's most just the same gods, the games are still very different.
