Are you a fan of book series such as Harry Potter and/or Percy Jackson?

I've read Harry Potter all the way to book 6. Planning on continuing it later. And I make plans of reading Percy Jackson.

I've never read any book of both series, but I've heard many times from different people they're awesome. My sister has all HP films and she loves the series so much...

Both the series listed are some of my favorites. I'm way behind on PJ though, I haven't even finished Mark of Athena yet. I've been meaning to re read them and HP both.

A friend of mine actually got me into The Hunger Games series a month before Catching Fire was published

 

I've been with the series all these years and am stoked to see Mockingjay Part 1 this Sunday!

 

To answer your question yes

I'm a HUGE fan of Harry Potter! I've read all the books too.

I love Harry Potter but never really got into Percy Jackson.

I do like the Harry Potter series.

 

I was a bigger fan of the 'Series of Unfortunate Events' growing up though.

I owe Harry Potter and my teacher reading it out loud for my jump in reading levels back in second grade. 2nd grade level to College level in a matter of months. So yeah, even if I don't personally like all of these series, If they can do that for some other kid out there, I approve.

Harry Potter is awesome, but Percy Jackson isn't anywhere near as exciting. Just depends on the series; Artemis Fowl also comes to mind.

I perfer Percy Jackson over the Harry Potter series when it comes to books, i never finished the Harry Potter series (got bored on the last book). But mostly I like both series best.

Definitely Harry potter; when Deathly Hallows was released, I reread all the books again over the course of a week and literally wept when reading Book 7.

 

Never got into Percy Jackson, though; I think they came out a little bit past my time. At that point, I was reading more adult-focused novels, less novels aimed at teens.

I like Harry Potter movies.

Dont care for the books. I never cared, not even the school ones.

 

I only read manga.

I've never read a single book or watched a single movie of those series in my life. I never cared about them.

Yeah, I love those kinds of books.  Anything that is adventurous and well written I'll try out.  I don't care if I'm an adult; adult books suck.  I'll stay young forever~

ATM, only Harry Potter. I do like to read other books sometimes, though, and I usually give them a try if I like an adaptation, but overall I seem to find less time for reading fiction.

Well, the movies are least well-reviewed, artful, and incredibly well-acted. And they were the defining series of a generation. Just saying it's worth a try.The first two are a bit slow, though.

I love the Percy Jackson books. I used to be really into Harry Potter, but that died after a few years. I just can't get back into it.

Yeah, I like both. I probably prefer PJO more though. Rick Riordan has such an amazing writing style that I can never have problems with. I'm almost done reading Blood of Olympus. It's so good! Then I'll read PJ's Greek Gods.

Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire.

I do like Harry Potter, both books and movies. I guess Hunger Games and Divergent would both be the same "kind" of book, and both of them were decent (Hunger Games more so).

 

But Percy Jackson is my favorite book series! I love Greek mythology, and I really like Riordan's humor. I think the original series was better than Heroes of Olympus, but it's still awesome.

I read harry potter 1-7 in one week.
