Posted December 1, 201410 yr It's what it sounds like. Think back to dumb things that have happened with you and video games, and share them here! I'll start with a few of my own: I had the most difficult time beating Twilight Thorn the first time I played Kingdom Hearts II for some reason. I was only on standard mode. One time I accidently deleted a Final Fantasy X save file where I had all the celestial weapons for my active party and had a lot of my stats maxed. Until fairly recently, I thought that the box art for Super Smash Bros. Melee was Mario, Link, Bowser, and Pikachu standing around a campfire. I have beaten Crash Bandicoot 2, 3, and Twinsanity multiple times each, but have never beaten the first one.
December 1, 201410 yr When I was younger, if I played a game I thought was too challenging, I just whipped out a cheating device so I'd never get frustrated. I went into my first X-2 playthrough armed to the teeth with end-level cool stuff.
December 1, 201410 yr I made a KH1FMHD save file on Standard where everything was done in the journal and with the Ultima Weapon all that and I saved over it with my Beginner file That I was using to get a few trophies.
December 1, 201410 yr My biggest gaming embarrassments aside of not figuring obvious stuff that I didn't notice are: 1I used to like Final Fantasy XIII back in 2010 and 2011 before I attempted a second playthrough and saw how horrible the game actually is 2I used to like Shadow The Hedgehog(the game) when I used to be a Sonic fanboy....it took me a while to see how absolute shit the game was
December 1, 201410 yr when I was younger (7 or 8) I couldn't beat Clinton in Deep Jungle of Kingdom hearts 1.... no not him and the heartless boss.... the short fight, before.... Pro:tip, if you don't get to him he uses a potion. I refused to use any offence magic when I was young,, so I couldn't beat Ursula... I managed to get her down to one HP without using magic on her cauldron, but couldn't kill her. I died to the giant heartless that is in destiny island at that night.... (i was playing on proud mode, so...) I kinda enjoy the Atlantica level... in KHII I hate Agrabah with a passion because I despise deserts. I also don't like Halloween town in KH1... that's my confession. I own and played every Harry Potter video game movie tie-in from year 1 to year 6... I emulated the DS Kingdom heart games I hate the Sonic series, and think that they should just quite while they are ahead.... "ahead" I'm a secret supporter of the Marvel and Starwars involvement in Kingdom hearts, but if you ever asked me I'd say that is a stupid idea... Oh! When I was younger like 9 or so, I played KHII on Normal mode and got to the final boss without ever changing my equipment, adding abilities, or Keyblades... simply because I never realized you could do any of that. December 1, 201410 yr The first kingdom hearts game I played was 2 and I played on begginer mode and died at least 10 times. But now I can beat the game on proud without dying once.
December 1, 201410 yr -Ocarina of Time is one of the first game that I've ever own,I was 7 at the time and english is not my first language,so at 7 years old I couldn't read or understand english at all and I was only used to racing games platformers at the time and my copy of Oot was used and all the save file were completed so I didn't know what was going on with the game,I didn't know what an adventure game was,so I though that each area of the game were levels so I would go though Hyrule Field to Lake Hylia and be like ''Wow I beat the level, that was easy'' until I randomly erased all the save files.Than by playing from the beginning I understood that Oot is nothing like Super Mario World,it was an adventure and it blew my mind. -I died against the very first goomba in Super Mario bros and New Super Mario bros -I used to believe that Samus was a man and Link's name was Zelda(until I saw his name in SSB64) -I like Final Fantasy,I like RPGs,but I don't get all the love for Chrono Trigger, its ok,but its far from being one of my favorite RPG. -I hate every FPS that's not Goldeneye 64,but for some reason I enjoy the King Kong FPS on Gamecube
December 1, 201410 yr To this day I listen to video games ost's over radio music. Guilty of this. I honestly can't think of anything other than this.
December 1, 201410 yr I once stabbed my little brother in the neck with a pencil because he wouldn't let me play The Lion King on the computer. I was maybe 5 years old, and don't worry, he's fine. I've learned to control my violent tendencies. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
December 1, 201410 yr To this day I listen to video games ost's over radio music. This isn't embarrassing buddy.I too love to listen to video gamesanime soundtracks over radio music or heck even over most of what's available in the music industry
December 1, 201410 yr When I was a kid, my parents got me a blue Game Boy Advance SP back when that was brand new, and Pokemon Sapphire to go with it. I played it for a couple hours, got really pissed that the game kept winning, and smashed it on a desk, causing pressure cracks on the screen and rendering the handheld useless the same day I got it. To this day, I still feel sick to my stomach about that.
December 1, 201410 yr I've never managed to beat Golden Sun 2 without the help of my old Nintendo Power magazine, which gives a good general guide on what to do (the world is too big! It's hard to navigate!). I probably have used the givethebearlotsofair cheat in Banjo Kazooie more times than I care to admit. In fact, I'm reasonably certain I've never beaten Rusty Bucket Bay without it.
December 1, 201410 yr *sigh* here we go... In pokemon yellow I skipped the 7th gym thinking I didn't have to do it when in fact I did I have to do it but there was no way for me to return there. so that was hard work I will never get back I thought Riku was a really pretty girl in the KH1 opening

Also, on the subject of Crash, I've never played the first or second. And it's one of my favorite game series ever... The third's the only one of the original trilogy I own.
December 2, 201410 yr To this day I listen to video games ost's over radio music. I APPROVE Regarding the topic: - When I was younger, I could never beat the first boss of Spyro 2: Crush. - I took over 2 hours to beat the final boss of Spyro 2 when I went for 100% the first time. Litteraly 2 hours. - When my Chikorita fainted for the first time on Pokémon Silver, I restarted the game, because I felt guilty for letting it "die" - I could never get through the Elephant Stampede on Disney's Tarzan for the PS1. Never tried to do it again since then. - Up until recently, I could never get through the Trash Slime boss on Toy Story 2 for the PS1. TAKE THAT - I tested the Master Ball on a Lv2 Pidgey the firts time I got it on Silver. - I thought Blastoise was pronnounced "Bastloise" when I was younger. - I thought that Dragonite was weak against Electric Type moves. - Never got the Roaming Legendaries in Silver up to this date. - Couldn't get through Egg Hawk in Sonic Heroes. - Couldn't get through Hydrocity Act II in Sonic 3. - Kept on ragequitting in Bomberman Fantasy Race for the PS1 - I was too scared to complete Moto Racer All of this when I was younger
