Is RPG your favorite type of video games?

Yes, the only exception being Hidden Object.

98% of my games are RPG's 

My favorite genre has always been RPGs. Too bad console RPGs aren't as prominent as they used to be. Wish I'd played all of the great SNES RPGs back in the day. Handheld games are still great, though.

I play a lot of rpgs these days, but I wouldn't say they were my favorite genre. SRPGs like Fire Emblem, Devil Survivor, and X-Com are the shit though.

Not really; I like a lot of different types of games, though there are some genres I never like (visual novels and fighting games, mostly). Some of my favorite games are some form of RPG, though- Kingdom Hearts, Fallout: New Vegas, Pokemon, Paper Mario, etc.

Action RPGs? Oh totally.

Turn-based? Almost never, though I've been fond of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, so they're obvious exceptions.

I'm more of a fan of JRPG's like Persona and other SMT games and Danganronpa but I like RPG's as well like Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon, and Final Fantasy games (idk if those would count as JRPG's or not)  Basically any type of RPG I can get behind and will most likely like it

JRPGs are Japanese Role-Playing Games. They're essentially a sub-category of RPGs.

Yep,90% of my games are RPGs with the platforming genre being a close second

Action RPG would be my favorite but RPGs would definitely be my second or third favorite. 

well, besides Rpg  i like shooting style game .and lately i`ve been onto hack and slash type of game.like Dynasty warriors series. and gundam warriors( love the mecha there)

I do own a number of RPGs, but I'm not sure if I'd call them my 'omg' favourite genre. If a game is good then I'll like it regardless of the genre it is.

It's not my favorite - there are a couple of other genres that I like just as much. 

I think they might be, if only because my top ten favorite games list has about five RPGs on it.

Yeah that's kind of similar to me. My favourite genre is action / adventure. I'm not really a huge RPG fan, I've wanted to get into it more but the turn based combat and strategy has thrown me off, don't really like the FF series for instance. But Kingdom Hearts takes the gameplay of an action title and mixes it with an RPG in just the right way. 

The gameplay of KH has me looking forward to FFXV even though I haven't really enjoyed the other FF games. 

 

I would like to explore the RPG genre more though. I want to play Dragon Age Inquisition and have been told to play Persona. 

I do like the Elder Scrolls series though. I lost a week of my life to Oblivion

 

So no its not my favourite genre.
