So, let's be honest, Kingdom Hearts has plenty of dark moments. Some smaller, some HUGE.

My personal one was in KHll, when Roxas finds out his entire time in Twilight Town was a lie. He honestly thought he had friends, but it turned out they weren't even real, just copies to make him occupied. Not to mention this is right around the time when he gained his memories back. Roxas wanted to be him, and only him. And the thought of when he had his memories erased, Roxas in Twilight Town had thought his friends were real, that all their experiences were real. But no, it was just an illusion controlled by DiZ, who thought of he as a nobody, an emotionless shell. Everything that boy had gone through was based on secrets and lies, and those days were lies too.

That's just mine though there are plenty more though.(Zexion's and Vexen's death, Terra's possession, the whole Ven-Van thing, ect)

Now what's yours?

Holy crap don't even talk to me about that unless you want to hear uncontrollable sobbing dude. That was like my saddest instead of my darkest.

When Sora saw that guy turn into a heartless in Traverse Town. Not particularly dark, but I was around seven or eight at the time, so I though it was.

Oh, yeah! I totally forgot about that guy. If my over dramatic imagination thinks about it though, that was pretty dark. I mean the guy looked terrified that he was going to die, and Sora saw the crap happen sooo.

Darkest moment was when Xehanort took over Terra like he was just some dull toy. This made me so mad inside and turned my whole thought of the Kingdm Hearts storyline upside down.

I never saw any dark moments. I actually believe Kingdom Hearts is way too childish and I'd like more dark moments. Maybe include some blood please like in Final Fantasy. You know, mild blood but not just that one moment on the coin in the Port Royal world.

I don't want swearing but I one something creepy and scary to make the game a little darker.

Maybe kill off a character and never let him return. That will be both dark and depressing.

But seriously if I had to choose it would be the part were Ventus gets frozen by Xehanort in the secret ending of KH2FM. The one that appears in BBS was't as scary.

Riku Replica's character as a whole is a dark moment in KH.

Especially when it looked like he was going to get molested by Larxene.

We all know the darkest moment in KH history is when your at 1 HP and Donald uses your last Elixir on Goofy... :/

And that is why you never trust Donald with your items. ;)

The possesion of Ventus-"Ventus-Vanitas" and his battle against Aqua

In all seriousness the darkest moment in KH history was when Terra-Xehanort choked out Aqua.

My favorite dark moment was in Dream Drop Distance when Young Xehanort was telling Sora that he was going to a deep abyss and he will never wake up and Sora will be his thirteen vessel. And Sora was calling Riku for help before Young Xehanort told him "Good night Sora."

My darkest moment was when Xemnas forgot to pay the electric bill.

The only thing that creeped me out in KH was in the original KH when you enter the final door and Sora, Dolan, and Goofy are at Destiny Islands. I first played this part at 1 am because I had been playing all day and I was tired and the only one awake in my house. Ansem's voice against the disappearing islands just really creeped me out and I ended up muting the tv until the final cutscene  xP  besides that I haven't really felt like there was a scene that bugged me. I got kind of sad all throughout BBS but I didn't feel as creeped out as the Ansem fight in KH1

When Goofy got hit by a boulder in KH2

Well, I think it terms of favorite dark scene, it was when Xehanort grabbed Ventus by the helmet, and froze his entire body. Then, to top it all off, he just tossed him off the cliff like nothing. Unfortunately, Aqua caught him before he could hit the ground, but the dramatic effect is still there. ^^

Posted Image Simply adorable.

I have to totally agree. Although there were probably darker moments for me, this one stuck out the most. Just looking at Aqua's reflection in the mask and seeing Ventus' eye look at her through his cracked visor is absolutely stunning and pretty haunting. Like, that look in his eye just expresses pure fear and sadness. The best part though is in the picture you put when Ventus is frozen and looking at Aqua. His paralyzed face just reads "help me... Please."

Another dark moment I thought of was when Riku defeated his Replica in Re:Chain. It wasn't really dark, but more tragic. What really stood out in that part was how Replica Riku was asking where his heart would go when he dies. It's just so stunning to me because since he's not human, he doesn't even know if there's a Heaven or a Hell for him, nor does he even know if there's a place to return to, if he came from somewhere at all. At least Xion went back to Sora. Repliku has no one to go back to. Unless it's Riku, but that's unlikely.

As mentioned before, Axel telling Riku Replica to drain Zexion's "life force". The horror on his face and him struggling. Gosh, I hated Axel in CoM.

Xehanort succeeding in BBS (with all the freaking setups he did in Terra, Ventus, and Aqua's story).

Sora falling in to the true Organization XIII's trap and almost got Norted in DDD.

A journal entry by Axel about Saix has changed in 358/2 Days.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy starting to loose their memories in CoM.

Lady Tremaine, Drizella, and Anastasia's demise in BBS.

Riku's behavior in the first game (Example: Monstro, Neverland, Hollow Bastion. (ESPECIALLY HOLLOW BASTION!!! HE PI--ED ME OFF AT THE BEGINNING OF HOLLOW BASTION!) [This was at the time I hated Riku.]

Xion in 358/2 Days  ( I don't where to begin with her).

Roxas's story. It was dark in general and was full of secrets and lies all over it.
