How many princesses will be there be in Kingdom Hearts 3?

Posted

So far in the Kingdom Hearts series we have had

Snow White

Cinderella

Alice

Aurora

Ariel

Belle

Jasmine

Mulan

and Kingdom Hearts 3 Rapunzel is being made to fit inside her tangled tower!

But how many more princesses are there left to do? I though there were only 7 seven princesses of heart so how are they going to explain the newly added princesses like Rapunzel, Anna and Elsa and Merida (If they do appear in KH3 that is)

I don't think elsa could be considered a princess of heart. Based off the movie its more likely that she could come close to turning into a heartless like clayton was in kh 1. I also think that its possible that Alice could be replaced by rapunzel as a princess of heart for some reason. Like maybe wonderland becomes inaccessible and they need a new pure heart.

It'd probably stay as seven.

Being a princess doesn't automatically makes you a PoH. There you have your explanation.

as he said^ unless more time travel.

There's a difference between Princess of Heart and Disney Princess. For example, Alice and Kairi (who you forgot to mention) are Princesses of Heart, but aren't Disney Princesses (since Alice technically isn't a princess). On the other hand, Ariel is a Disney Princess but not a Princess of Heart. So they can have other Disney Princesses, like Elsa, Anna, Rapunzel, Merida, or Tianna, without them effecting the statuses of any of the Princesses of Heart.

There are 11 Disney Princesses

Snow White

Cinderella

Aurora

Ariel

Belle

Jasmine

Pocahontas

Mulan

Tiana

Rapunzel

Mérida

Elsa and Anna have been confirmed to join at some point, but have not yet had an official coronation at Walt Disney World, a precedent set by Mérida. Moana is expected to join at some point after her movie is released as well.

There are 7 Princesses of Heart

Snow White

Alice

Cinderella

Aurora

Belle

Jasmine

Kairi.

From what we've seen with Ariel and Mulan, any Disney Princess who gets into the series but isn't a Princess of Heart becomes a world specific party member instead.

The Princesses of Heart and Disney Princesses are not the same thing.  The term "Princess of Heart" is a title referring to people who have a natural heart of pure light.  It has nothing to do with royalty despite the fact that most of them are princesses.  That being said, how the heck is Mulan a Disney Princess?  She was even in Sofia the First, which was kinda cool, but still...

There will be seven and no more than seven. It takes that many to form the Keyblade of Heart, which is the light half of the X-blade.

Anna and Elsa have not been confirmed yet to join the Disney Princess franchise.

Well, the 7 Princesses Of Heart will no doubt appear in Kingdom Hearts III, but I don't know if any other Princess that is introduced will end up replacing a few of the current Princesses Of Heart.  There's Rapunzel, and then there's the possibility that Tiana from The Princess And The Frog might appear too, if a world based on said film appears in the game.  I'm not really sure how this'll work out, but we'll just see what Nomura comes up with! :3

Princess of Heart isn't the same as a regular Disney princess, and it also doesn't mean the PoH IS a princess, like Alice.

Plus a lot of princess in the Disney line aren't pure of heart: E;lsa froze a whole village and almost killer her own sister, Ariel stole, lied, and almsot got Triton killed, Mulan fricked up everyone's everything by blowing up half the palace (not to menton having at least 7 Huns in her death count)...

I could go on, but the point is none of the other princesses are truly 100% free of Darkness, so it's almost impossible, unless Moana is added in later games, for any more PoH to crop up.

On a slightly unrelated note, 7 is a nice, round figure, so why mess that up?

Anna and Elsa have not been confirmed yet to join the Disney Princess franchise.

They have been confirmed, they just haven't been inducted yet so they don't appear on any if the Disney Princess merchandise.http://www.rotoscopers.com/2013/03/08/frozen-leading-ladies-to-be-disney-princesses/Apparently they were supposed to be made official last year, but for some reason they haven't had their coronation yet.

A disney princess lol I believe

A disney princess lol I believe

Yeah , she actually is . I haven't done my Disney homework in years .

They'd probably introduce a new batch of Kingdom Hearts Princess to capitalise on Elsa being featured in the Kingdom Hearts series.
