Do you live near a large body of water?

Posted

So after the message in a bottle poll I was just curious about this.  I live approx 10 miles from Lake Michigan (for those of you that don't know, that's a lake so big people call it an inland sea).  I actually raised my hand in class when the teacher asked who had been to the ocean.

I live near a river, a lake, AND and an ocean.

I live near a river. It's the filthiest river you'll ever see.

Peace!

I live directly across the street from the largest lake in town

Right next to the Atlantic Ocean :)

I'm about a 10 minute walk from lake michigan.

Wasaga Beach: the world's longest freshwater beach

If by "near", you mean approximately a 30 minute to hour long drive, then yeah, I'm pretty near the Pacific Ocean. Not that I ever go there, but I could.

A long time ago I lived near the ocean.

Now I live in the middle of bloody nowhere.

There are many streams and rivers in my village, but if if I'm in a car then I'm only half an hour away from the coast.

I live in North East Ohio, so I live relatively "close" to Lake Erie. But I live in Medina, so who knows if that should count.

lakes for days

I live near small bodies of water, different ones but not connected to each other. But I only live about a day away from the beach, but I don't visit that but once a year, if even that. So no I never found a message in a bottle, but yes there is at least some type of water near me!

Well, given that Puerto Rico is a teeny tiny island surrounded all around by the ocean, yes, I do live near a large body of water! :3

No. There is a river downtown, and that's far away from where I live.

Uh... when there's a lot of rain, water collects in our yard and makes a little pond. I guess that's close enough.

Darling Harbour <3 is prob the closest body of water near where I am

I do live close to the sea but it's not an ocean.

Near the Pacific ocean. Like 25 minutes away from it lol.

I live near ponds. If there's rain, there will be another pond near my residence entrance. (since it's summer, the large pond is dry).

I live near the atlantic ocean, it's about an hour and a half drive. There's also tons of rivers 'round here.

I live by the North Sea.
