Excuse me people, but can I have your attention please? Why is it some of you KH fans still want there to be more Final Mixes of the console KH titles? I get that some of you think because KH1 and KH2 and even BBS had Final Mixes that KH3 should have one to, and then the other of you are just a bit stubborn when it comes to DLC and Game Updates! But personally I don't see why KH3 should have a Final Mix. Sure we don't want paid DLC, I get that, but what about free DLC and free game updates that can make KH3 never need a Final Mix, as it would be given the features a Final Mix would give it? So what are your thoughts on the matter, should or shouldn't KH3 be given a Final Mix, and please explain your reasoning behind the matter!

Final Mix should just become KH's Game of the Year Edition

KH3 is gonna have a JP only Final Mix. Square Enix is gonna make more money by releasing it twice. (By making 3.5 remix) Similar to 1.5 & 2.5.

I don't think that a KH3FM is necessary because all of the good stuff should just be packed into the game already. However, I won't be surprised if it happens.

I can't see a final mix... However I can definitely see DLC. Because when the Final Mixes came out, DLC wasn't a thing yet Haha.

I don't believe he said he won't do Final Mixes but he felt bad that he didn't bring them out of Japan earlier because he didn't know how the big the games' fans were.

I think Final Mixes are a thing of the past, with DLC there is no need for them.

yea i think DLC replaced the Final Mix concept. Personally I'd rather they use their time to develop a complete game, rather than make half of one and then selling us the other half in little pieces at a time over the next year. For once I'd like to pay full price for a game and actually get the entire thing.

Honestly, with all the time it's taken to make Kingdom Hearts III, I'm sure that Nomura and the gang have prioritized putting every single thing they can think of into this game, thus, making the need for a Final Mix unnecessary, ya know?  They should just put in everything they want to put into the game, and make it a complete package!  But still, if a Final Mix were to be released, I wouldn't complain, I'd just get it.

My opinion of why:

1. 3 is the last game of the Xehanort Saga.

2. I believe those Final Mixes are there, just to "fill in the blanks", "connect the dots", just to give us an understanding of why "this or that" happen. 

3. (Throwing it in there...) Dream Drop Distance to me is just a "summary", a "recap" of ALL the games, including it's story which leads to 3.

4. I believe 3 will have everything we need to know, just to wrap this Xehanort Saga up. 

5. We still have X [chi]/ Unchained X, just to know those Foretellers and other things that's unknown to us right now. 

 

DLCs? I'm not with that idea either. Unless it's DLC costumes for Sora, DLC weapons for Donald and Goofy. But again, I'm not with the idea.

Sure, I can see them maybe putting up some KHIII profile pictures for 99 cents and maybe a wallpaper or so--...oh you meant like, actual additional gameplay DLC? Doubt it.

No final mixes for KH3, thank you. It isn't fair to exclude certain consumers on content due to their lovation, despite purchasing the same game.

I would be excited if they made a final mix but this time, for the first time, a worldwide release. I like the idea of having KH3, knowing we're not going to have another KH for a while then we get a revamped one with new content within a year or two. It gives an (unnecessary) reason to play KH3 again. (I say unnecessary because I'm going to demolish that game multiple times regardless so I don't need a reason.)

As nice as one would be, I do not think it will happen. The PS4 wil. Have greater online capabilities so updates and DLCs can be made when updating the PS4. Besides, the PS4 has so much more capabilities and more memory capacity, a final mix is not necessary. Everything could be put on the first time.

I believe if there's a Final Mix, it should be an expansion pack/ DLC.

My thoughts exactly, Zootopia and Moana are going to be released for 2016. I can easily see both those movies as new worlds for a DLC pack!
