At this point I'd rather have the game itself than a trailer. But they did not handle this situation well. They should have said it was exclusive from the get go. But who knows? We may be surprised.

But that's how you change things. If you don't express your dissapointment they won't change. Standing by and being ok with them giving you the middle finger isn't going to do any good. Honestly the KH fanbase isn't the only fanbase that's doing this, every fanbase does it.

 

Also this is nothing compared to what some other fanbases do, honestly I haven't seen a single cuss word in this entire thread. If anything this is pretty tame.

Even if I don't see the next trailer from this, I'm fine with this. We got information out of the translations, so I've got my fill. I'm not going to complain.

You can't perform 180° U-turns that easily, Square. You hyped it up so much this year, and then to turn around and claim that we shouldn't expect anything nor to trust a rumour; it just isn't fair

We just gotta cross our fingers that they see the hate they are getting and come to the decision to release something.

In case you haven't noticed after how many years of KH fans raging over KH3 news, this has changed nothing. It's ok to express disappointment and I understand the frustration but that does not always mean it will change anything but cause needless stress. I don't think they have shown the best track record on caring what fans think on this subject.

This is true, people have been freaking out for years saying "give us KH 3!" and yet they keep saying please be patient, I don't think they'll change that now. I'm not mad at SE/Disney but more disappointed.

But I reckon it's because Square and Disney want us to be patient. Because KH3 is still far from finished, needing at least 2016 to make more progress and a potential release in 2017, or 2018.

They should learn how to threat their fanbase and especially how to use the internet. Yeah, it seems like I'm overreacting but I'm not really mad. I just give companies what they deserve when they are doing something like this. SE/Disney has now a special place toegether with EA and Konami.

Yeah well after expecting KH 3 for so long I've gotten used to the dissapointment. Getting riled up won't do anything. Plus as we get closer to the release of KH 3 probably in 2017 they will release more. We will probably get a ton of stuff next year too.

They may have worded things a bit badly but when compared to EA, Konami and Activision, Square Enix and Disney treat their fans like we're bloody Rockstars!

 

It's all a matter of patience. Because it will, will take at least 2 more years for KH3 to be complete and at least 1 year for any news to become far more substantial.

I'm not really, I just think this is very tame so there's not really any point to be voicing reason. I'm not following other KH media that much so I don't know what's going on, but atleast it's not the youtube comment section.

No, they just want us to face the reality that they may not always have something that's enough for Public Viewing.

Unfortunately the hype was generated since January... oh well.

D23 is supposed to be an EXCLUSIVE FAN event. While I agree it was wrong to get us hyped up I think it was always supposed to be exclusive.

Never did I state just this thread. I am talking about this whole debacle and the reaction has been fierce. Keep in mind I also understand why but let's also be realistic considering the track record regarding how they have treated the fans. This has gone on long enough to know when it's needless to freak out.
