December 13, 20159 yr Safe to say it will be around 3 to 4 hours with maybe like a side boss or something
December 13, 20159 yr I wish there was a "1-2 hours" or a "1.5-2 hours" option. KH2's prologue had a particular goal in mind with it's pacing, mood and characters. It was long for the purpose of setting the stage with Roxas. I don't think Aqua's 0.2 segment will need to be that long because it will have a smaller purpose. Just my speculation, mind you.
December 13, 20159 yr It probably be 30 minutes to one hour at least. It's not like KH2 or KH1, which takes 2 hours or more to complete the prologue. KH3 will have a fully prepared Sora to go against Xehanort and the Darkness.
December 14, 20159 yr Knowing how Kh2's prologue was about 2 hours long, it would be safe to assume that KH3's prologue might be that long.
December 14, 20159 yr It can't be longer than the actual wait for the game. But probably 1.5 to 2hrs.
December 14, 20159 yr It will be very long. You have to establish all the ancient elements that are involved with the game.
December 14, 20159 yr It won't be long. I believe that Nomura originally planned to have Aquas story as a prologue, since we know that Mickey explains the background story after KH3D. The prologue will take 1 hour. Sora goes to the sleeping realm and returns to Yen Sids tower. *KH3 logo appears*
December 14, 20159 yr Well since 0.2 was supposed to serve as the original prologue I will say 1-1.5 hours.
December 14, 20159 yr 2+ hours. Its the last game of this saga. There's will be a lot to do. Edited December 14, 20159 yr by Sakuraba Neku
December 14, 20159 yr Since Aqua's story was supposed to be the prologue I don't think more than two hours, maybe less.
December 14, 20159 yr I'm thinking that Kingdom Hearts III's prologue will take a good 2+ hours! This is the last game of the Xehanort Saga after all, so there's got to be a good build up in the prologue! I'm sure we'll get to be in the know of a great many interesting things, including the conversation between Young Eraqus and Young Xehanort! Gahh, this is going to be awesome! I can't wait to play this game already! X_X
December 14, 20159 yr Depends on how big of a world it is and how long you tend to play worlds. If you're like me, you'll probably take your sweet time finishing up with every little secret until you're satisfied with the place. However if you're one of those people who just likes to speed through the level then what the heck is wrong with you? then it might up to or even less than an hour. Again though, this is also dependent on how big of a "world length" they make it. Like 3D The World That Never Was big, where it's just 3 to 4 rooms, or Radiant Garden big, racking up the double digits? We gotta wait for more coverage....come oooonnnn Tokyo....

Sora goes to the sleeping realm and returns to Yen Sids tower. *KH3 logo appears* You're forgetting, 0.2 is only part of the prologue. 0.2 was originally supposed to be 0.5 with stories for all 3 characters that's why it's called "A Fragmentary Passage" it's only a fragment of what was intended. Terra and Ven are the missing 0.3 of 0.5, which together with the opening dialogue between Young Eraqus and Young Xehanort make up the missing 0.1 between 2.8 and 3.Given this and the fact that 0.2 is supposed to have the volume of one world in the KH series, which is usually about an hour, I'd say the prologue will be 2, 2.5 or possibly even 3 hours. December 14, 20159 yr No clue. I'd assume 1-2 hours. But i would absolutely love if it started off super calm like KH1 or KH2 with them wondering around their islands for a bit, preparing to head off or something. But I dont know if it will since all the previous games have been leading up to this. would love a nice relaxing start though, then the decent to madness Edited December 14, 20159 yr by victorytea
December 14, 20159 yr 1 to 1.5 hours at best. I don't put my expectations too high for this game because I know that it will feel short and when I'm done I'll be left wanting more.
December 14, 20159 yr Well with all cutscenes and maybe a little bit of exploring and fighting i think there could be 2-3 hours^^
December 14, 20159 yr Honestly it depends. On which character they use for the prologue, and what kind of story they want to tell in the prologue.
December 14, 20159 yr Honestly it depends. On which character they use for the prologue, and what kind of story they want to tell in the prologue. I hope they use Xehanort as the playable character for the prologue.
