I know that some people have assumed that Zexion was an emo in CoM. I disagree. There are three main reasons why I know Zexion is not an emo.

 

1. Emo's LIKE death! Zexion showed fear of dying which means he DID NOT like death.

 

2. In some of the Com cutscenes, he is showed smirking every so often. Emo's don't do that.

 

3. Emo's are more solitary but Zexion wasn't. He even got upset when Lexaeus didn't say hello to him when he commented 'don't I even warrant a hello, Lexaeus?'

You silly. He's emo because he has hair over one of this eyes.

I have my hair covering my right eye and I am most certainly NOT an emo.

At first glance I would say he looks emo. But if you really new him and watched all the cutscenes in CoM(like me!), his actions would tell you otherwise.

i would say i'm like 5% emo all i do is listen to emo music and want to die (sometimes) put besides all that i wouldn't say he's emo but hair means nothing u need more then just 1 reason to call him emo

Even though he isn't an emo, it's still fun to pretend he is. Though I prefer to think of him as the nerd of the Organization. .w.

I just think he has cool hair, and i dont understand him. He is the youngest in the group, but he talks like the oldest.

Last time I checked, 'Emo' is a genre of music. So unless Zexion is actually music in a human body, he is not emo.

Emo, is short for Emotional. The appearance of him at first glance reveals emo, but as he is a Nobody...emotions are hard to come by. Even as I show no emotions myself, my friends tell me to stop being emo. Is this utter silence automatically sadness? Why must I speak, when theres nothing to say? Nuisances, all of the lot.

I'm emo. I'm scared to die. I'm emo. I smirk. I'm emo. And... well, I don't get upset when no one says hello to me.

Well, I can't agree when you say that all emos like death, are antisocial, and don't smile.

But I can't sat he's emo, either.

I've never once thought he was emo. I thought he was kinda anti social at first, but when I played Re:COM and saw more of his personality, my thoughts were changed:p. Hes actually pretty social and seems to enjoy talking. I don't see why people would think hes emo...

I'm guessing mainly because of his hair? Every time there's a character with hair covering their eyes, people say they're emo. KH2 Riku, Zexion, etc.

Seriously, Zexion is like one of the more friendly nobodies in the organization. My interactions with irl emo's is they have no value for anything except themselves (implying they are self centered) . Zexion valued the organization, he didn't like seeing it declining. Not only that, when he was on a mission with Roxas he was the most willing to help Roxas understand what he was doing. Sure, that one scene with Xigbar where he's trying to talk about Xemnas in kh2 FM, he was a bit mean to Xigbar. But that prolly ties back into that Zexion values the organization, therefor doesnt want to hear anything negative about the superior or w.e. Also he cracked a few mean jokes with Axel. If anyone were emo in kh, that would have to go to Roxas. Based on the fact that he is depressed on what is happening to him. But he is also, not emo.

 

Also it doesnt help that all the pictures of him in wikipedia he is frowning...

 

One day I'd like to read a fanfic where Zexion isn't emo. Oh what a grand day that would be.
