What kind of Films do you like the most?

I like action movies, but my OCD has prevented me from seeing any in theaters lately.

Action movies are awesome!!

They always get my heart pumped up

I'm not really partial to one genre over the other. I mean each had movies that were well done and I enjoyed, while at the same time they each had movies that didn't really appeal to me.

 

The only exception to this is horror. I can't sit through horror movies without totally freaking out. So I'd say I like everything bar horror. 

I'm mostly into fantasy and action, but I also like romance, documentaries, comedies, and sci-fi. I'm not a huge fan of horror, but I do like Carrie (2013) and The Shining (my parents forced me to watch it and somehow I ended up liking it).

I'm saying fantasy but really I like a combination of everything except horror.

I had to choose "another opinion" as it was too tricky to decide which I like most out of the genres I watch most: action, adventure, fantasy, sci-fi or comedy.

I hate to not really answer on the poll, but there wasn't really a option that fit:

I really like horror and fantasy movies that have romance in them, like Crimson Peak, or Edward Scissorhands. 

So..Horror/fantasy/romance, I guess? 

I like pretty much everything except documentaries unless presented in a unique way. I'm a huge fan of animation if that's even considered a genre

I like all of them. It's more about how much I like the movie than the kind of film it is.

Action is my favorite thanks to Marvel.

Hmm, well from the poll I'll have to pick Sci-fi I guess. But I usually like any kind of genre as long as the story is interesting to me.

Comedy for me. I like laughing

I like Action-Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Comic-Book movies. I love watching movies that can entertain me and keep me interesting. I can't stand movies that are long and slow because those long and slow movies I find just drag on and on with no action and never get to the point. And I hate romance movies because I find them cheesy, slow, boring, and way too dramatic for my taste. 

I'll generally gravitate toward action, I think, if only for the visual spectacle. But really, I'm not super partial; if a movie's good and well-acted, genre won't matter as much.

Pretty much any film that I can get my hands on and/or interests me.

 

I'm not too big a fan of the romantic comedy though, especially in the "chick flick" variety. The reasons for that should be obvious.

So I love to put things into lists. My top 5 favorite genres of film in order of preference and examples are as follows.Fantasy (The Lord Of The Rings, Harry Potter)Action (Indiana Jones, The Avangers)Sci/Fi (Star Wars, Rise Of the Planet of the Apes)Musicals (The Phantom Of The Opera, The Sound Of Music)Comedy (Cheaper By The Dozen, Kangaroo Jack)

ComDEY, EVERYDEY!!

Honestly, I'm the type of guy that's up for any kind of movie, as long as I like it, ya know?  But if I had to pick a specific type of film or films, I'd say that Action and Fantasy films are the ones I tend to watch the most!  Action films like Marvel's Cinematic Universe and Fantasy films such as The Lord Of The Rings are the types of films I love!  Ooh, and I also love the Star Wars films, which are sci-fi!  Comedies are also up my alley, and I love animated films!

 

I'm not too keen on horror, though.  I mean, now that I'm an adult, I can probably go through a horror movie, but back when I was a kid, I was scared of said films, and so I've never been drawn to the horror genre! X3

 

But yeah, like I said, I'm a man of varied tastes!

No preference. I watch all of the genres pretty evenly. 

I love sci-fi (Star Wars is by far my favorite movie series of all time), but I don't know that I really watch a whole lot from that genre now that I think about it (could just be forgetting a lot, my movie memory isn't the greatest and I don't watch movies that often anyway). I'll say sci-fi because of Star Wars, but I also love action, comedy, and horror. Nothing like a good punch, laugh, or spook (sometimes all at once).

I like a wide variety of genres, although I do have a fondness for fantasy movies. I'm really picky though when it comes to movies I like so I guess it depends really.

Hitman: Agent 47

The Last Witch Hunter

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

 

As for genres I don't like... I'd rather not get into that. It starts delving into personal stuff.

I picked comedy but I love pretty much any film. If Bollywood was an option I'd pick that, because those films tend to have all the different genres packed into one film. Masala style ftw

I usually watch a movie after reviews by others or whatever I find interesting

Comdey because of how it's written because I just like that kind of film above the rest of them.

I like animated films the most. Genre does not matter.
