How could you include that abomination known as Super Mario Bros?

I don't know how these could be someone's favorite, almost all of them have been affected by the curse.

The Angry Birds Movie. Angry Birds is one of my favorite games to play. Even thought the film isn't out yet.

if anime counts as a film, then the tales of phantasia anime is my favorite for now. :)

None, really :/

it will be either ratchet and clank or sly cooper later buuuuuuuut i'd say the street fighter movie x D

i'd say resident evil is the most successful ones from video games though

Do the Pokemon movies count?

Actually, the Persona 3 movies are excellent.

Favorite movie based off a Video Game? How about the Sonic The Hedgehog Movie? Even though there still wasn't any Super Sonic, it was very intense and exciting!

MISTER PRESIDEEEEEENT! CAN YOU HEAR MEEEE?!

"Yeah, uh, guys, how about a 'Planet Mobius' world for Kingdom Hearts 3?" Nah, just kidding. xD

Rock on!

The answer to that would be none, I'm afraid.

I loved the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and the Persona 3: Midsummer Knight's Dream (#2, they didn't have the first one on Netflix :P).

I think out of everything on that list I'd have to go with Tomb Raider, but I had no knowledge it was based on a video game until after seeing it. Prince of Persia was meh, and I fell asleep during Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. don't kill me! The rest on the list I haven't seen.

Advent Children made me like...cry. AND I DONT EVEN LIKE FINAL FANTASY THAT MUCH.

Advent Children was pretty good. Of course, it was actually made by the people who make the games anyway, so maybe that's a good sign of how they should be handled.

Having just seen Ratchet & Clank, I can confidently say that movie is baller. Easily the best video game movie I've ever seen, and one of the best animated movies to come out in years. Can't recommend it enough.

I personally like the Silent Hill films. I know they're not so great to many, but to me they're enjoyable. And the Resident Evil films are pretty sweet.

Advent Children was amazing, a true masterpiece. Sengoku Basara Samurai Kings: The Last Party goes as close second though.

It was close between the amazingness that is The Super Mario Bros Movie and Advent Children but its just sooo good that Advent Children won

I'll admit that I haven't seen Ratchet and Clank yet and it looks good, but every other video game movie I've seen was awful. I haven't seen that many, but both of the ones I watched were... ugh. Super Mario Bros and FFVII Advent Children (I know it's popular but I thought it was boring as heck personally) are movies that I don't know if I ever want to watch again. If we count it, Pixels was also pretty terrible. I just don't have a good history with video game movies, even though it's a bit of a short history.

Silent Hill....

Revelation.  >_>

I never liked the first film that much, but the sequel is one of my favorites, as hated as it is.

Advent Children is my favorite movie based on a video game. The only other ones I saw were Super Mario Bros,a Resident Evil movie,Pokemon 2000 and an other Pokemon movie(I don't remember which one) and they were all boring and Super Mario Bros was insulting as a Mario fan.

I bet. XDAnd since I've only seen one video game based movie, I'm going to go with Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. <3

Ratchet & Clank. I haven't seen it yet, but I have a very good feeling about it.

I'm curious as to why Wreck-It Ralph isn't on this list, considering that it's based on video games, and features many cameos from many different gaming icons!  But yeah, that's my choice for favorite film based on a video game!  Advent Children and The Sands Of Time come at a close second, but Wreck-It Ralph is just perfect! It manages to create an enticing story while adding some awesome video game character cameos for good measure! :D

I want a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph so badly!!! X_X
