May 17, 20169 yr Wasn't that shown in a financial report for Square-Enix? I always figured that it'd be late 2017. Maybe July-December.
May 17, 20169 yr I think that, if the game comes out in 2017, which I hope with all my heart, there could be 3 different possible release windows/dates: 1: March 2017. Well, this is pretty obvious, it's the 15th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts, so it would be really nice to release KH3 that month 2: 13/7/2017 (or 7/13/2017 for you americans.I mean July, ok?). Saw this on internet and found it neat: well 13, as the 13 darknesses, and 7, as the 7 lights. It would be a "symbolic" release date 3 late 2017 (november/december): obviously releasing the game near Christmas time would increase the sales quite a bit.

The "after April 2017" thing is just the result of several news sites taking Square's report on the 2017 fiscal year and turning it into "OH KH3 AND FFVII REMAKE AREN'T RELEASING UNTIL AFTER THEN" despite that this was already pretty obvious. So yeah, I'm confident it's true we're not getting it before then, but this isn't pointing to a 2017 release, either.

IF YOU THOUGHT IT WAS COMING OUT IN MARCH/APRIL THEN YOU ARE SORELY MISTAKEN. WHY WOULD IT EVER COME OUT AT THE START OF THE YEAR WHEN NO ONE'S REALLY BUYING GAMES? EXACTLY. IT WOULD NEVER. May 17, 20169 yr Huge chance its coming 2017. im a firm believer that square is leading us to believe kh3 is far off. remember there troll with the FF7 remaster then a year later they show the reboot? yeah... besides there going to be doing more PR talk and showing off the game more this year cause they have said kh3 went into a important development stage back in January of this year. hang tight guys i have a good feeling for this E3. May 18, 20169 yr Yeah I don't know why it's a big deal haha. I woke up yesterday and a friend sent me a screenshot from something on Facebook saying that KH3 won't come out before April, and he thought I'd be annoyed or something? If it comes out next year I am already 100% it will be towards the end of the year, so this isn't real news, or "bad news" like people are making it out to be.

Considering that Dream Drop Distance came out in July of 2012, it would make perfect sense for Kingdom Hearts III to come out in July, since its right in the middle of summer, when most gamers are on vacation, ya know? It's a very smart date to release the game! I really hope it's either July, or at the latest, October! Heck, as long as it remains in the year 2017, I'll be happy!

May 18, 20169 yr I am not surprised it would be coming out after March 2017. I mean, early 2017 seems too early to begin with. I am leaning more towards a summer to fall release. But yeah, July or late 2017 sound like perfectly fine dates for the game to release! I don't want it to release too early, ya know? We'll see what happens when E3 comes around! We could be surprised with a release window!
May 23, 20169 yr It's a definitive mid-late 2017 or early 2018 release it makes sense I'm expecting 3 to be a summer or Christmas release honestly.
May 24, 20169 yr I personally hope the game is released later in 2017 so I have plenty of time to catch up on the series while still being able to play other games. That said, that's probably just me.
