This is to anybody who is salty about kingdom hearts 3 not being at e3: Cheer up a little. I know you've been wanting kingdom hearts 3 to be at this year's e3 even though SE indirectly confirmed it will not be at e3, but let's face the facts; being salty about it won't change how e3 was a few minutes ago. We're all going to have to accept it at the end because of what I said earlier. Let's look forward to the future and get hyped for what information SE will give us for 2.8 during their livestream in a few days. What you guys can learn from this is to not hype up games that haven't been confirmed to be at e3 because you may end up being salty. Sometimes you don't don't get salty because the the game that you wanted to be at e3 ends up being their even though it wasn't officially confirmed to be at e3. A great example of this is when kh3 appeared at SE's conference at last year's e3. Most of us were hoping that kh3 will be there and we were lucky enough to get a trailer and a ton of interviews regarding the game, but keep in mind things like that won't always happen, so you should always can your hype at a minimum level if kh3 isn't confirmed to be at any gaming event. I hope this post cheered you guys up. Now let's get hyped for 2.8 at the SE livestream in a few days together

we should rejoice that we are even getting a KH game this year. For all things considered, if KH2.8 wasn't planned for this year we'd have gone a year empty without something to hype about.

The live stream couldn't be worse than today. I wasn't expecting KH 3 there anyway.

Yeah... Another 2.8 thing would've been possible. I guess another FFXV trailer was nice though.

In fact judging from the user update commentson this site I'd say people are just dissapointed at Sony's conference as a whole because they didn't wow us with much aside from the beginning of their conference. Not just for KH3 not showing up. A lot of us already knew that KH3 was not going to show after seeing the KH 2.8 E3 trailer. Majority of their conference was mostly about gimmicky VR stuff. Which nobody is even interested in.

Yep, exactly! So what if a game doesn't appear at E3? There are other games to play too! In the end, we just have to let them work hard on the game so it can be as bug free as possible.

Atleast Crash Remaster and VR FFXV were the best announcements.

Let's hope for Square event.

It seemed like crash, kojima and GOW got the biggest reaction out of the audience. The other stuff they were half heartedly clapping

yeah,but still. I wasn't just talking to the users who probably are on here. I was talking to the guests that are salty too because there will be people who are salty when things don't go there way. Keep in mind that some people still had hope that SE might show kh3 at e3 even though they've indirectly confirmed it. Unless SE directly said that KH3 isn't going to be at e3, then nobody would have worried about kh3 at the event. In all honestly this post still had to be made though because this IS a kingdom hearts site at the end isn't it? That is why I posted this on the kh section of this forum

Lol, I never got over-hyped for any such thing related to KH3 at E3 this year (I'm using "over-hyped" because I feel the term "hyped" tends to get overly attached with a negative connotation in the community when really it's just another term for "excitement" and "anticipation", it's not inherently negative whatsoever). Really since day one I was expecting more of a focus on 2.8, you know, since they basically told us that there were going to be big KH3 announcements in December specifically. I guess if anything though, I am a tiny bit disappointed that no 2.8 footage was shown at the Sony conference. That doesn't mean that we're not getting anything at all, we still have Square's presentation to look forward to (but 2 days feels like too long even right now T.T"""), and with demos available they are sure to show us plenty of 2.8 footage to properly hype over. I just hope that what will be shown can help tide us over for the next 6 months of waiting for more info, and of course playing what is largely a new title.

There was no Kingdom Hearts, but I never expected there to be. We'll get more announcements later this year, Square Enix told us this. Sony had a great conference with or without Kingdom Hearts, imo.

Honestly, I wasn't disappointed.  True, I was expecting to at least be surprised with a KHIII slice of footage, anything really!  But, we weren't shown anything, and that's fine with me!  We still have that amazing 2.8 trailer we got a few days ago!  That, in my opinion, is more than enough to tide us over until Winter for more Kingdom Hearts III news!  (It'll be an agonizing wait, but hopefully, it'll be worth it!)

 

And besides, with the gameplay footage we'll probably get out of the 2.8 demo that'll be available to play at E3, I'm sure that will also help tide us over till Winter, ya know? I have faith that when Winter comes around, we'll receive an abundance of Kingdom Hearts III info!

 

But yeah, 2.8 hype!!!! IT IS SO REAL!!!!

Guess I was wrong I guess. My bad for denying something that's really factual.   Guess I was really desperate for kingdom hearts 3 news. Well at least the post I made doesn't just apply to kh, it applies to every game that everyone wants to be at any gaming event.

We already knew going into this E3 that FFXV was gonna be the main focus of Square Enix; its only 3 months away from being released and will be their biggest title in quite some time. Expect KH3 to be the main focus at E3 2017, unless FF7R will share screen time with it 

The most we can expect from Square Enix Livestream for KHIII is a new scene or something added as an extended trailer of the 2.8 trailer if we get REAAAALLLLYYY lucky, but I doubt it happens. Even though we want to get hyped and all it's good to be real as well. Even with the trailer ending confirmation many people still believed KHIII was going to be at the event, it was obvious it wasn't going to be, and yet now they are being salty. I am so excited about 2.8 that I don't give a thought to KHIII right now tbh. It's time will come but for now the Realm pf Sleep, Aqua and the Foretellers deserve my attention

I wasn't expecting a Kingdonm Hearts 3 trailer in the first place since the game is still early in development and all we would had gotten was gameplay we've already seen. Besides, we're getting new announcements on Winter, one can assume that we'll end up seeing a story trailer as well.

They should have just come clean and said no KH3 at E3 like Hajime Tabata did last year with Final Fantasy 15. That's an example of good PR.

 

 

Oh well, Horizon Zero Dawn, FFXV, Spiderman PS4, Detroit Become Human, new South Park game, Watch Dogs 2, God of War 4 can keep me satisified. At least the leading devs for those games know their audience well unlike *cough *cough Nomura.

To be honest, I think it was the fanbase who made it ambiguous, it clearly said we would see KH3 in winter, it was the fanbase who said "we will see it in winter for sure! But it doesn't say we won't see it at E3 too!", I could see what SE meant, there was a clear "No KH3 for E3" message there.

I don't think that's true to be fair. They should have been more direct. Anyhow, it doesn't bother me.
