I think it's really just Nomura wants to use the idea that he had for Vs 13 and he saw a way of doing it with Kingdom Hearts

The Vs. 13 drama is only known by fans of Nomura and Square- its not a mainstream thing-- we only know about this cause we're knee deep in this shit, someone detached from everything is not going to get this

the issue is that a lot of v13 fans want to force KH4 into the position that it's literally versus 13 and they don't like the nuance of the topic.

Is it personal for Nomura? I don't think I have ever seen him talk about the cancellation of Vs13

What I'm saying is people talk about FF15 and Vs13 as if they are two completely seperate IP's that just so happen to share names.

But imo I don't think they're holistically complete opposites of each other or anything. They are different but they're not unrecognizable to each other
