if they have the memories back they may have other things on their mind when they see ven

Didn't you know? Characters are only interesting if they're suffering, or in pain, or in a bad mood. That's why this fanbase loves Riku so much, he seems like a better character cause he's "gone through so much more omg he's so hawt".

KH can be really subtle and nuanced but also as blunt as a baseball bat so I think little things like that go unnoticed.
