Kingdom Hearts III confirmed to appear at D23 Expo 2015 in Anaheim, CA - August 16

Disney has confirmed via the D23 EXPO website that Kingdom Hearts III will appear at D23 EXPO 2015. The D23 Expo in America will take place in Anaheim, California. Kingdom Hearts will be in Hall D23 on Sunday, August 16 at 11 a.m. USA Pacific Daylight Time (USA PDT). With this event, Square Enix will bring special guests and surprises to Hall D23 with new information to be revealed about Kingdom Hearts III. OMG   Im dying of joy right now. I have been saving money for D23 Expo in Anaheim ever since I was 16 and now Im finally going  . This is so great ahh. There will be so much to experience at the Expo like new footage of Zootopia, The Good Dinosaur, Finding Dory and Moana. A 20th anniversary special for A Goofy Movie, Making of a classic Aladdin and so much more I can't wait. Is anyone else going to the D23 Expo in Anaheim this August.

Calling it now, both D23s will have new trailers and the general public will never see either of them.

Aww yes! More information even sooner than expected, this is awesome! I'd be happy if we even just got the announcement of a new world, anything would be great right now after feeding our curiosity so badly with E3, I'm excited!

I posted on some other forum that there would be no KHIII at the California D23...I apologize. I would guess a world or two reveal, maybe the assets left out of the E3 trailer.

I was surprised by these news So we will get more Infos sooner than we expected.
While I would love to see a new world, I would also be happy to see some other details regarding the Gameplay. Maybe a look at other characters would be nice now too (even if it would be just Disney Characters in their world). And hopefully they will release something officially and not hold it back a bit more.

I just hope they will hold back a release date, it's way too early for that in my opinion.

That was me! but I also predicted they wouldn't give it stage time and the Nomura wouldn't show up. I happily am wrong about both of those!

If it's "hard to get" then that in itself is a soft confirmation of Marvel/Star Wars not happening in Kingdom Hearts 3. Activision owns the gaming rights to Star Wars: they're not going to give it to a competitor like Square Enix for Kingdom Hearts 3.

I want to be happy, but I really just want some release date information. But I'll take what I can get. A new world reveal, hopefully something from Pixar! Ooh, a new trailer! A story trailer!

Remember Tarzan? Square Enix were not able to gain the rights from Edgar Rice after Kingdom Hearts! That's why it is not in Chain Of Memories or 358/2 Days and that was the Disney adaptation. I'm saying never for Star Wars because Tetsuya Nomura himself soft-confirmed that anything outside of Disney Interactive is much more laborious and legally complicated to apply to Kingdom Hearts. If you really like Star Wars then just sticking to playing Star Wars instead.
