Im going with reincarnation theory, that is not Ventus, Riku and Kairi that is Gula, Ira, and Ava. Now I just need someone to phtoshop the masks over this artwork

@Kingdomhe Don't forget that Naminé has long hair:) Actually, her hair has always been longer than Kairi's. Even in II. So at least we still have her to represent girls with long hair (if Skuld doesn't have a part after Chi, that is). ^_^

Could it be possible, that this Ventus figure is actually a younger kid Ven? Hence the different outfit and shorter hair and kind of younger looking face? Like what they did with Kairi Sora and Riku in BbS? I could be wrong... Anyway, I wish I could like alot of posts here, but quota lolRiku's KH3 outfit fits him perfectly and I'm glad Nomura decided to give him this look. As for Kairi, she looks adorable and even more cute with the hoodie on let's hope her outfit is just as great as Riku's, because unfortunately, Sora's outfit reveal was a bit underrated than I thought.

Ven looks like he completes the KHX-trio with Ephemera and Skuld, but he looks more sinister and not happy like the other two. His position in the background makes me think that he was a good friend once but darkness took control of him and he betrayed his friends.

 

I like where you're going with this theory. I want this to happen not only to diversify Ventus' character, but to show the Vanitas side of him.

He kinda looks like it in the Key Art, especially judging by his 'hair cut'

All these posts saying Ven was involved in the events of x, you realize x takes place at least 90 years before BbS, right? He woul;dn't have even been born yet. Plus that wouldmake him older than Xehanort, he's 15. Unless he was somehow asleep in KG for 86 years.

He could have been in some kind of sleep or so. I mean if he really was a dandelion too, we don't know what to those people even happened. Everything's possible.

Hopefully it's not one or the other. Hopefully they just merged together again.

I don't think Nomura would merge them together. Firstly because we see both of them facing off against Xehanort in the KH3D opening and secondly because they are not the same character. Roxas may have Ven's face but he still came from Sora and has his own individual personality. It's more likely that they will both end up existing as their own separate beings.

Welp... I like the designs alread.. but I have not enough material for a fanart. Althought is good to have a refference for sora´s hair.

I figured he was 15 because he uses Roxas model, who is about as tall as 15 year old Sora.

Good God, the minute I laid eyes on this beautiful piece of art, I fanboyed like an insane person! X_X

 

Good God, is Nomura deliberately teasing us with Kingdom Hearts III material right in our faces!? I mean, look at how badass Sora looks!  AND RIKU AND KAIRI, OMG, THOSE NEW LOOKS! GOOD GOD, PLEASE LET THIS BE THEIR NEW OUTFITS!!!! :')  Also, Skuld, Ephemera and Chirithy are looking fresh!

 

But without a doubt, the thing that has me the most curious and intrigued is how Ventus or Roxas looks!  Like, that's an intriguing look he has!  If this is the way Nomura plans to differentiate their appearances, then it's definitely a good way to do so!  It's perfect!

 

Also, you guys notice the 3 right below Kingdom Hearts? I know that 3 stands for the 3rd Anniversary of X, but I also like how it doubles as a foreshadowing of Kingdom Hearts III!

Roxas is Sora's nobody, but part of him was also formed by Ven's influence. In fact both Naminé and Roxas were, sporting such different looks than their Somebody counterparts. It's harder to tell with Xehanort the influence of Tera's body since they looked so alike as seen by the KH3 trailer but the same seems to happen there as well, where Xehanort's nobody and even heartless sport a look similar to Tera's because of Tera's influence and imprisonment in Xehanort during the time he (committed suicide?) and made his nobody and heartless.  Ven and Roxas, although different people with different personalities do relate a lot as well.

Well we can't really see his shoulder but om KHInsider someone found a tweet that does confirm that it's Ven, I can't find it though.

It's not Roxas, it's Ven, he has the same shirt and bracelet ! He just doesn't have his armor and his "X-like" belts whatever !
