Oh shit. I just realized. Beast was cursed at the same time that BbS happened.
Isamu Kuno repliedIn the movie Lumiere sings to Belle "Ten years we've been rusting" implying that the castle was cursed ten years prior to the events of the movie. At the time of Kingdom Hearts (the first game), Belle was already a prisoner in Beast's Castle, and Birth by Sleep takes place before ten years before the events of that game.

Now, I don't expect KH 3D HD to be a full-on Final Mix, but there are a few things I'd like to see added. 1. Oathkeeper and Oblivion for Sora and Riku respectively and 2 a new Secret Ending showing a hooded, robed figure presenting himself before Master Xehanort, followed by a shot of the Round Room with all 13 chairs filled, showing that Master Xehanort has obtained his 13th vessel. That's it. That's all I need. If those get added, I'll be happy
Isamu Kuno repliedThey wouldn't even need to add anything new to unlock it, just make the unlock condition beating the game for Critical, unlocking the first Secret Ending and the Secret Message for Proud, and Unlocking the Secret Ending and Message and beating Julius and/ or getting a certain rank on each dive missing and/or clearing all Flick Rush cups for Normal.

I'm pretty good at logically working out KH's plotholes, but one this still eludes me. How could Roxas have rejoined with Sora if Roxas was in the Digital Twilight Town while Sora was in the Real one? I mean, I get that the digital Sora probably worked as some kind of intermediary to rejoin them, but HOW does that work?
Pangoro "Sen" repliedIf I remember right, Roxas found and went through the digital portal that linked the digital world and the real world. The one that was in the mansion in Twilight Town.

So, someone on G+ made a really good observation . In the beginning of 3D, Yen Sid said he was going to send Sora and Riku back to the Destiny Islands before it fell into darkness and became a sleeping world. But the islands where fully restored to the Realm of Light and the end of the first gane, they where never a sleeping world, where they? I mean, weren't the Sleeping Worlds worlds that weren't fully restored to light?

HarLea Quinn repliedI think they exist in both at the same time but how is not made clear. Look at the complexity of the inbetween worlds. It's not so cut and dry. I mean lets be honest. I think some things get retconned or overlooked as the story is written.

Nomura lied. 2013: after the release of 1.5 and χ "No new games until KH3" 2014, 2.5 comes out. Okay, not technically a new game, just a remaster. 2015 Uχ announced. Okay, still not a new game, just a port. Later in 2015: 2.8 announced, 3DHD, okay, just a remaster χBC, okay, just some cuts cents showing another side of χ but 0.2, 0.2 is effectively BbSv2,a game that was hinted but never release. That's a new game nomira, even if you try package it in an HD collection!

Aww, man. I just realized. When I get around the replaying BbS in a couple months, I'm going to have to play on Proud/Critical just to play the Secret Episode. If I try to use clear data I've already used, all the Treasure Chests and paths will already be open. That's like half of it. Well, maybe if I make a new Final Episode file then use THAT file to get to the Secret Episode it'll all be there? Can anyone confirm?
Isamu Kuno repliedAwesome, I've been doing a Beginner Run since I only need the story and already unlocked the Secret Endings on my first playthroughs so u just need to go into the Theater mode to watch them (except in KHFM, but I have a clear file for each ending so it's NBD to replay the final battles) but A Fragmentary Passage (episode) is a special case, being playable and all.
Isamu Kuno repliedI mean, it'll take some time to kill 9,999 Inversed, but I have plenty of that, since 2.8 won'the be coming until next November at the eariliest, if the recent trend continues.

So, I've been playing the ReMIXes to get ready for 2.8 I just finished Re:CoM. Now, do I go in ReMIX release order and watch Days, or do I go on original release order and jump into KH2 and come back to Days later?
Kalebninja replied2 then days. I always felt you should experience the games the order they release them.

Why are people still convinced Sora is at least 16 in KH3 despite the fact that it's been confirmed that there hasn't been a time skip since the one after CoM?
Isamu Kuno replied@ラッキー No he's not. His KH2 and KH3 models are exactly the same height. This has been confirmed by Nomura.
Isamu Kuno repliedWell, at last I can take solace in the fact that this person clearly has know effing idea what the hell he's talking about. He keeps trying to count the duration of Days and a separate time skip from the one between CoM and KH2.

lea12345 repliedThey did do It to the Japanese version, they all jumped on and crashed the servers because there were so many of them (ruining the experience for Japanese players) and then they blamed Square Enix for the problems they were creating, I remember it well @Xamtehwt Trece

Playing Riku's story on Re:CoM. Just got to the first Repliku fight. Did anyone else notice that the replica'so voice is just slightly higher? Kind of like KH1 Riku. I thought that was a neat touch.
Forever repliedIf his Replika ends up being one of the Darknesses, it'll be interesting to see if they keep him prepubescent or not...
