I'll admit, I was a little harsh on Riku, especially considering that, going through DDD again, I can see where they were going with the character.

S'all right. It's just a pet peeve of mine to see Riku getting bashed for being "broody" and getting lumped into the same boat as, say, AC!Cloud, though it's also a pet peeve to see Sora getting the short end of the stick compared to Riku for not being "serious" or "cool" enough--the KH fanbase is not kind to its characters sometimes.
