Ever thought that you're not the target audience for the KH manga? It's most likely aimed at kids who enjoy such a cartoony style and gags/light-hearted humor. Not saying this to change your opinion of the manga but it's not going to change just because you don't like it the way it is. If you don't like it, just stick to the games.

This is only for his KH2 model though; he looks similar to Sora in KH2 but has a different facial structure (one like Ven's) in the Days and Re:Coded movies We'll see if Square decides to keep this new model of him for future games

I've always had this headcanon that it has something to do with his late wife; in the 3rd Little Mermaid movie, Ariel's mom died because of humans but I was thinking for KH, maybe she died because of a keyblade wielder Or better yet, Ariel's mom was a keyblade wielder from Atlantica and was killed in action on another world, which would be why Triton is so against keyblade wielders meddling in other worlds
