    This post was good because of your sig. I actually find that it depends on the execution to as if the manga was in fact better than the Anime. Sometimes with good directors and voice actors the characters can really come to life, and this can be good for stuff where liveliness helps a lot, like comedies. (But it depends on how well the execution was done in the anime version how well it was executed in the manga.) Semantics. Anime simply means animation and RWBY is animated. Yes, there is general consensus to use the Japanese's word for animation to describe their media, but really there isn't any reason why the word can't apply to similar styles of animation.So, while I agree that RWBY is not an anime, I see no point saying to others it isn't an anime.

    0_0, It is only in pre-production. I am surprised. I would have thought they would have instantly funded a second season and at least have been in production by now. But oh well, its fine.

    Not really, at least not yet. That being said, whenever I get a new calculator I try out all the functions, even though I know they probably work correctly. As you can see, marukyu used the old trick of saying 3+6=36 or 8+2=82. It isn't proper math, but it is okay 'math' for codes, tricks, and stuff like this.

    A Sci-Fi TV show that got canceled, supposedly it was good. And it is a running gag for nerdy characters (or characters into sci-fi) in shows to be upset (or have a grudge) by it being canceled.

Also I am kind of annoyed at the New Age creation myth conspiracy theory thing.

    Pfft, I think the Christians were too proud of their actions to keep it a secret. Or weren't thorough enough with their treatment to make sure no one talked.I wouldn't doubt other groups, with possibly with ideologies and maybe not even any religion may do similar things. BUT they probably do it a lot more thoroughly and keep it a better secret.

    Just saying because it is on topic, I do actually know at least one person who pirates games to try them out. And if he likes 'em, he buys them. And if he doesn't, I don't think he even finishes the games he pirated.Is that legal? No.Are companies losing sales because of it? Possibly, but on the other hand, some are gaining sales.

    Basically this, in addition like almost everything in the world, there are going to be some exceptions. But those exceptions don't prove that it isn't right for everyone else. Also the phrase probably originated in western culture where most girls are raised to do house work or look pretty and quite possibly never were in a real fight before. So, I think you can understand how much of an insult that could be to someone. And it wouldn't be misplaced in that society. Well that could give a different meaning to "you hit like a girl."

    Hmm, I think your fear about the Marvel fanbase is similar to your complaint about the stereotype of the yaoi/yuri fanbase.While you might get some nitpickers, the probably the majority wouldn't criticize it anymore than they criticize Marvel comics. Though Marvel movie fans might be a different story. And I don't think you have to worry about KH getting Marvel worlds anytime soon. After all, PIXAR hasn't even been touched yet. ( I don't count the cut summons as being touched)
