  1. i'd like to think Nomura can start a new saga without having to weigh it down with plot elements from this current one. things are so ridiculous as it is. at this point the next saga should essentially be a soft reboot with zero mention of Xehanort and the Organization.
  2. i mean sort of. the scene in question was definitely meant to take place a year after KH1 and it featured Kairi so in a way it had an early version of KH2 Kairi. you only see her from behind so it's just her with longer hair and a different outfit.
  3. i assume you're talking about that one scene from the very end of the secret ending(?) where there's a girl with long hair on a beach watching a shooting star fall or something like that. that's Kairi back when her KH2 design wasn't finalized. i'm guessing they wanted to show a passage of time by giving her longer hair and making her a bit taller.
  4. that'd be a good way to alienate the part of the fanbase not keeping up with Ux. just have the main antagonist which the series constantly focuses on turn out to be some rando player character from a mobile gatcha game.
  5. i think they ought to turn UX into a manga. might present the material in a more digestible way like the Days manga.
  6. Kingdom Hearts 3 - Final Chapter Prologue Epilogue ReMIX+
  7. sounds like they could just as easily make Twilight Town a spot on the world map and call it a day. i don't think it says anywhere that the train is the only way to access Twilight Town.
  8. that'd be pretty hilarious for Xehanort, the big bad of the entire series, the supposed mastermind genius who always has a backup plan, to get killed just by being sniped in the back.
  9. i mean if the clash of 7 and 13 is going to happen then yea wouldn't they have to meet? thanks to the increasingly insane story we've been given so far, KH3 is going to probably have a lot of ridiculous moments and it's going to be a sight to see, i'm sure.
  10. i could see him providing a more passive support role like Yen Sid and just dumping exposition when needed. im sure they could write some plot point that occurred back when the original Organization was formed that Ansem could bring up. personally i don't think he should be given a weapon. he never struck me as a fighter. more of a calm and collected sort of character.
  11. i've been replaying the series and im actually enjoying DDD more than BBS because the movement feels quicker and less floaty. also flowmotion is way more fun than i remember it being.
  12. yea honestly from what ive watching of KH Ux i would prefer another movie to cover the more important plot details. the game looks like it really drags on too long and the story related stuff is spread out across a ton of filler missions. at least with CoM and KH2, players who went into KH2 without playing CoM would only be slightly confused at the beginning. KH2 never heavily based itself off of plot points from CoM, only using them as a jumping off point, so players could still skip CoM and understand KH2 just fine.
  13. i'm looking forward to The Evil Within 2 the most. the first game had a lot of potential and i'm hoping the sequel really capitalizes on that. been excited for Mario Odyssey despite not having a way to play it. it just looks like a really fun game and if i ever got a Switch it'd probably be the first game i got for it. also i only just found out today about A Hat in Time and it really looks interesting. i'll probably look into it more when i take care of the games currently in my backlog.
  14. probably gonna go with Xemnas as the favorite Xehanort incarnation. his voice really makes the character for me and a lot of his dialogue in KH2 was enjoyable just thanks to the voice. Plus the final fights with him are always going to be some of my favorite end game sequences in the series, along with the accompanying music. my least favorite is probably going to be Young Xehanort as he suddenly got shoved to the forefront of the villains roster in DDD and was propped up like a major threat despite being pretty bland imo. at least old man Xehanort has a unique sounding voice and really seems to enjoy what he's doing. He's entertaining to watch. Young Xehanort just always sounds bored.
  15. yea it's amazing how off the rails they took the story of a mobile/browser game. the other day i thought "hey i think maybe i'd like to try and get into the story of those Chi games." then i spent a good 20 minutes trying to figure out which cutscenes to watch and which order and i realized this is a similar problem many people have when it comes to the entire KH series. the titles are so confusing that you can't figure out where to start. Chi is really losing it, which is a shame because what little plot i could make out from the cutscenes seemed like it'd be interesting to play in an actual game and not a mobile gotcha game.
  16. i always play through it Terra-Ventus-Aqua because it's the order they were written in and it really shows. Terra's story doesn't really do much else other than set up the worlds and characters, Ventus seems to have the most involved story, and Aqua seems like she just comes around afterwards to clean up after Terra and Ven.
  17. does change.org ever actually work? im just wondering because i see it pop up a lot when people want something to happen but i don't think i've ever heard of one ever bringing about anything. i'm sure if Nick wanted to bring the show back they would. they certainly aren't hesitating when it comes to playing into people's nostalgia. Rocko's Modern Life, Invader Zim and Hey Arnold are all returning in one way or another. Maybe Jimmy Neutron just isn't in their plans right now. might be better to just let this one go, for now.
  18. i know the book that the disney film is based off of came out in the 60's and the first zelda came out in the 80's if that means anything.
  19. i would say it's the same person and the reason he looks different in that gif is because some time passed. that scene was how they tried to show the connection between Terra-Xehanort and the Apprentice Xehanort we learned about in KH2. basically to say, "And this is who he grew into! Ta da!"
  20. fighting all the titans would be a cool opening level. at least you couldn't say it was boring like some say of KH2 lol
  21. really looked generic. i'm gonna go ahead and say this won't be the film adaption to redeem video game movies.
  22. that's the problem with putting 13 antagonists into a single story. hence why we got that semi-boss rush during the end of the KH2. there were still members left to take out so we just ended up fighting them back to back to back. the multiple Disney antagonists worked in KH1 because they were directly tied to a world and that cemented their relevance to the story, because it was about saving the worlds from falling into darkness. in KH2, the Organization is just there to put heartless in the worlds, which is weird because i figured heartless naturally appeared in the worlds anyways.
  23. that'd certainly be a dark world for Sora to visit lol
