The demo has erased all the negative misconceptions I had for Smash bros 4. Most solid Smash bros game I've ever played in my life. October 3 can't come soon enough. Though if I did have one complaint it would be: Sakurai's favoritism. I'm alright with Fire Emblem getting 4 reps and Pokemon getting 5+ reps just as long as other series get as equal attention, but it always seems like the only series that gets more fighters are the ones that Sakurai likes the best or that he had played during development. The lack of anything new from the DK series is the biggest disappointment: no new characters or stages which is absolutely criminal for a popular series of DK's calibur. Even Cranky Kong would've at least made a decent new fighter if not Dixie Kong or King K. Rool. And Rhythm Heaven getting nothing but Sneaky Spirits as a Smash Run enemy is ridiculous, considering how much fans were hoping for a playable fighter or a stage OR EVEN AN ASSIST TROPHY. However, the rest of the game is a definite 10/10 game for me and even after seeing 90% of the game I'm still going to put in 300+ hours because it's Smash bros duh.

But even in terms of Dynasty Warriors quality, HW looks like it actually shakes up the hack n' slash genre and looks more fun to play. Fanservice is a given because it's referencing the Zeldaverse, but the rest of the game looks incredible IMO, and though not a Day 1 buy for me it's still something I would definitely buy eventually.

Xenoblade is my favorite game of all time bar none, but I don't know if it warrants the price of a new handheld iteration that, when you take the DSi's track record, might not have that many exclusives to convince cheap people like me who already have a 3DS into buying it.

*Sigh* Here we go again. It's not like they'll never make a remake of Majora's Mask, so that image could very well be teasing nothing, but there will definitely be a remake eventually. It seems likely the artist just picked the Majora's Mask because it was the most recognizable....who knows. Just saying, just because it's a reference doesn't mean it's a teaser.

I always loved how the assist trophies are nods to underrated/unknown games. Sable Prince is an exceptional choice. Now I just want Denpa men and Duck Hunt Dog as assist trophies.

How about bringing Tech Points back? It was a fun part of the battles in KH: exploiting the weakness of an enemy and then getting rewarded for doing so. Kinda bummed that it was only a gimmick in the first KH, but never was seen again in later titles.

I was extremely skeptical at first, but it actually looks amazing. Bummer they're only using three Zelda time lines for the stages though - imagine how great a Wind Waker and Link to the Past stage would look.

At first I was interested, but then I saw the gameplay footage, and the gameplay looks pretty mundane and boring (I'll probably still play a translated version, because eh, it's KH). I'd rather have liked it if the character designs were put to use in something like a Threatrhythm Kingdom Hearts, personally.

It will retain everything from the original but now in shiny HD...I don't know about multi-player in the Mirage Arena though.

The worst part is that they waited 2 years before shutting it down, I mean REALLY? Wait until everyone is hyped and then shooting it down is just stupid - don't tell me they didn't know it existed when every gaming site was covering it 2 years ago geeeeeeeeez. Good thing I downloaded the first full patch on my laptop back in June.

Well Isa is a part of Xehanort's 13 darkness, so I'm 99% sure he's going to stay evil. That's a-okay with me, because I never really liked his Somebody tbh.

I'm surprised we haven't seen Ness, Captain Falcon, or Jigglypuff yet, since they've been series mains since the beginning. If anything I just hope none of the veteran fighters have to be unlocked, because that was the most annoying part of the starting Brawl roster. As for the Monday reveal I'm thinking either Chorus Kids, Shulk, Isaac, or....Ridley. Though considering that Wii Fit Trainer is a fighter I'm expecting pretty much anything.

This clears up my question very well, thank you sir (and everyone else). *tips hat* I'm surprised we've never had achievements that tell you when you beat an Organization's Heartless, but maybe they're working on that for KH2.5, or MAYBE they just haven't revealed the Organization Heartless' yet and are saving them for KHIII...the possibilities are endless.

So far I can say I'm pretty knowledgeable about the KH lore, but something has been bugging me for some time: both Sora and Xehonort split into a Heartless/Nobody at one point, yet the game only mentions the Organization members as 'Nobodies' and never mentions their 'Heartless'. Jog my memory if I'm wrong, because I might be forgetting something...but shouldn't they have Heartless forms as well if they're Nobodies, or are they an exception to the rule?

Someone on a KH forum thread I used to go to mentioned James Cameron's Avatar...and what made it worse is that the other forum members starting to AGREE with her that it was a great idea for a KH world.

The Steam Summer Sale 2014 starts today and ends on Jun 30th. Anyone else buy Steam games during the summer sales? What's your most wanted games to be on sale? I've limited myself to $10 Steam funds this year, so that should hopefully net me 4 games at best.

I don't need a demo to reinforce my purchase of a game compilation that I'm already certain is one of the best games I'll play this year.
