  1. I'm still holding out for inFamous 3. Sucker Punch has been hella quiet as of late, it's gotta mean something...
  2. 4, so far. I haven't started 5 yet (will do shortly) but I loved 4's characters way more than I did 3's. They meant a lot more at the end. I would agree that 3 has a more focused plot overall, but 4 was far more enjoyable for me. (no options for Q or DAN? =P)
  3. Different editors, reviewers, opinions, etc. Besides, context is everything; the original KH might have made more of an impression at the time for how fresh it was, but the sequel is more nuanced, plays better, and is bigger overall. Anyway, it's certainly a worthy game to be considered on any "best of" list (even if I don't read IGN's because I feel like they put them out every six months or something =P). Definitely my favorite of the series (though BBS comes close).
  4. Maui could be cool just because he might not be limited to his hawk form; with the magic hook, he could do a bunch of things. I'd like a mix of old and new though, personally; a few Disney and a few FF.
  5. That's kind of the hook that keeps the game's plot going. Obviously the adventures these Keyblade wielders take are completely asynchronous to the timeline we've experienced in the main games. So why is it like that? Were the worlds reborn, is there some sort of reincarnation? It's sort of TBD, although some of the various theories floating around are probably pretty close to the truth.
  6. I wasn't a huge fan of the overall combat style (and traipsing around everywhere was a huge chore) but now that I've gotten hooked on Digimon World Next Order, which is actually similar, I should go back to it.
  7. Not in school anymore, so don't have to deal with that nonsense. Before, though, I wouldn't study anyway. I'm a pretty good test-taker overall, and I have yet to meet a question I can't talk my way out of.
  8. Oooh, tough question. I'm more of a roller coaster buff, so Space Mountain probably gets my vote. But the old Star Wars one, where you're in the moving room with the screen (is that still a thing? has to be) is great too. Indiana Jones was awesome too, with the boulder... man, I have got to go back there sometime. Haven't been on a coaster in ages.
  9. I've never been to any of the resorts. Maybe when I have kidBWAHAHAHA yeah maybe sometime.
  10. 3 and 4 are both great. I prefer 4 (especially Golden) because the characters are a lot more impactful than 3, but the plot of 3 is probably a bit tighter overall. You can play them both on the PS3 if you have that; 3 will be the FES version, with more stuff to do (but no FeMC or explicit battle tactics) and 4 will just be the vanilla.
  11. I technically cheesed the Speedster trophy on the PS3 (I was past the 100 hour mark, so it reset the clock) but I challenged myself to do it in the same time frame with Unchanging Armor, and I did. I also beat BBS in a few hours not too long ago. I just needed a Terra file with Critical for the last trophy, so I ignored anything non-essential and just went through to the end.
  12. Nice. Enjoy the five hours of updates first, though =P.
  13. No mercy pull for either iRoxas or HD Namine? Good luck with that one, SENA. People are gonna be maaaaad.
  14. I started off really strong, but I kinda skipped today. Should still place in the top 500, which is all I can feasibly ask for.
  15. Happy birthday, Yessie
  16. Probably not, but I don't think I'll be as actively anticipating anything; it'll be more like comfort food than anything else.
  17. Donald, so he could finally become the serial killer we all know he was meant to be.
  18. Some of these stories are still relevant today; in the case of Mulan, for instance, it will help a lot with Asian-American representation in cinema, something that's pretty lacking. Disney wasn't the first company to tell these stories, either, they just did it (arguably) the best. They've always drawn (sometimes more directly than others) from different cultures and stories of the past, and that continues to be the same.
  19. Haha, gotcha. It's guaranteed on the fifth pull no matter what, but that's why it was such a good deal, since the medal is pretty useful.
  20. A lot of people? It was a five-pull mercy, that was what made the deal so great =P.
  21. Is anybody that surprised they're VIP? JP does it too; welcome to the parity people have been screeching for. They'll probably be in next month's Coliseum rewards, and whatever the next HSC is.
  22. Mostly melee, but definitely commands in BBS; the variety is satisfying.
  23. Story and Proud Mode quests generally operate on an alternating two week cycle, it seems; we got new Proud Quests on Thursday, two weeks before were story quests, so a week and a bit from now should be new story quests again.
  24. I think there will be other playable characters; ever since 2, almost every game has had at least one additional playable character, and all things considered it would probably make a lot more sense if the story is being told in the fragmented way the synopsis suggests. It wouldn't be as satisfying having Mickey and Riku do everything in cutscenes (or worse, off-screen), I think. Of course, I have no idea WHO will actually be playable. Sora, Riku, probably Kairi for the tutorial, and maybe Mickey in some spots.
