  1. Its development time has been so long, people are bound to be disappointed. That's not to say it won't still be a great game, it's just that with all the hype building over the years, there's no way they'll be able to please everyone.
  2. Welcome! Hope you have fun here. Feel free to talk to me anytime
  3. From the text above that part, I can see it's a metaphorical bicycle. He was in a "race" but in the end he failed to stay ahead of Mr Turner. I think what Campbell is trying to say is that he chose to get off his bike, meaning Turner didn't "beat" him in the race. His thinking is in the line of "You can only fire someone if he is participating in the race, and I'm not participating anymore". Mr. Turner then fails to understand what Campbell is trying to say and thinks he is just a drunken idiot. Keep in mind this is only my interpretation, so it could be totally wrong.
  4. If the weather's nice: go to a park, find a good tree or bench, put on some lovely music (maybe the 2.5 version of Lazy Afternoons), and just drift away... If it's rainy: Enjoy the sound of the rain on your window. If the above don't apply: play all the video games. Yes, all of them. Even that one. You know the one.
  5. Welcome to the site! I hope you'll enjoy being more active in this crazy place. And don't worry about liking FF13, it gets quite some hate, but I don't think it's that bad. Just because it's not as good as some other FF titles doesn't mean it's the worst JRPG ever.
  6. Well then, an official welcome to KH13, from me to you! No but seriously, I hope you'll enjoy being a part of this community.
  7. Kingdom Hearts is the heart of all worlds, so I think it's made up of light and darkness like most other hearts. Though the KH1 ending implies (or actually just shows) Kingdom Hearts is full of light, all other instances of it showing up have not given any further information. So it might just purposefully have been left vague. The only thing we really know is that it's a very good source of power, which is why people crave to possess it so much.
  8. 1: Stewed is another way of saying drunk or intoxicated. 2: I'm guessing DT stands for delirium tremens, i.e. the state of confusion that is caused by the withdrawal from alcohol addiction. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delirium_tremens). 3: I have no idea. He could be talking about his sheet, how it was included in the price of the room, but it's certainly not a saying I know. He could also just be delirious and talking nonsense. 4: I think that means he's on a kind of drug. From the puncture marks mentioned later, I'm presuming that drug is heroin. And by pyjama jacket I think he just means the top part of the pyjama, the shirt, not the pants. I hope this helps a little!
  9. Oh great, another title taking away valuable resources from the KH3 team.
  10. You say that, but my first encounter with a channeler went sorta like this: "Oh it's a mage! Why is he dancing?" *Player gets murdered gangland-style by his now-buffed army* "That's the last time I trust a dancer."

Congrats dude! Hope you have a good one (:
  12. Symphony of the Night is fantastic, and probably the best Castlevania title to date. I know Deus Ex is good from the 200+ hours I watched my brother play it when I was a kid. And I've played the hell out of the first Spyro, which I loved as kid. Coming back to it later after the nostalgia had faded, it's not as perfect as I once thought, but still a pretty solid third person platformer.
  13. It would be a bit of a departure from his existing character, but I'd be up for it!
  14. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a deep storyline, but I'm gonna go with Dark Souls. It's a simple premise -you are a zombie, there are giant things, go kill them- with little story being told, but it hints at so much underlying lore through item descriptions and visual design.
  15. News and Social Media, protagonists with spiky brown hair.
  16. - Dark Souls. Like Kingdom Hearts, but slower and darker. And awesome. - Shovel Knight. Great action platformer with RPG elements, and a very good soundtrack. - Bastion. Action with plenty of RPG elements, great music and voice-acting. - Torchlight II. If you're into top-down dungeon crawlers, this one is pretty good. - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Still a very solid western RPG, and very easy to get sucked into. - Dust: an Elysian Tail. Amazing looking sidescrolling action RPG platformer. - And whatever Final Fantasy you can get your hands on, there's plenty to choose from.
  17. I am terrible at drawing or anything art-related (except maybe creative writing), so my entering really depends on that. Prizes I don't really care about.
  18. "How many drugs are you on?" "Yes." Damn this is good
  19. Avast, me harties! Today (September 19th) be Talk Like a Pirate Day. To help ye scurvy dogs, I be sharing a video of me favourite comedy troupe: Tis a fine day to sail the seas!
  20. Yes, it is a huge monetary investment. But the amount of time I've played the series and had fun with it more than makes up for that I think. In the end, companies a bags crap only interested in money, and though Square may not be leading the charge, it's very high up there. But hey, it's still cheaper than any kind of addiction, so I am okay with it.
  21. In KH1 I did it all the time, because the starting Highwind was such a piece of pure awful, so I had to really. KH2 kept supplying me with new, perfectly fine gummi ships, so there was little incentive.
  22. Sorry, first thing I thought of
