I am in love with Zero Punctuation
Solstice repliedI can see that. But what I meant is the review on the escapist magazine. (Not advertising here)
Veemon repliedOkay, I'm switching back to normal punctuation. Getting tired of typing so much.
I just looked it up, so now I get what you're talking about. So Zero Punctuation is like a game review channel on Youtube as well.
A few of my favorite channels I check out sometimes are CeaveGaming and Extra Credit. Ceave mostly does Super Mario Maker Tips & Tricks, but he'll probably eventually do other games as well. Extra Credit does game design and history lessons. Soun...
Solstice repliedYeah, and regardless of its nitpicking its funny. Kits more along the lines of a satirical nitpicking

I'm sorry Ardyn, I can't. You promised me that we would be the greatest villains, but you gave me chapter 13. That's something I can't forgive you for, that chapter was tedium at its finest! I'm sorry, ardyn, were done.

Don't trust game reviews.
Solstice repliedI suppose you do have a point, its like news. (Oh god why am I bringing politics into this) They do have useful sources of information, but you need to be aware some sources can be biased
HeyMouseSayCheese repliedI'm not even that against reviewers, just the concept of reviews entirely. Now that it's really easy to find people with similar interests to yours, you don't need a prepared review to get an idea on a product, you just need to listen to what they're saying. In my experience it's given me a much better picture of what I'm in for with a game (or anything really) than "professional" reviews by people I've never heard of.
HeyMouseSayCheese repliedAbout YouTube reviewing, the independent people who do those usually make a show out of it- think Angry Joe or The Escapist. It's not just a few paragraphs and then a score, it's guys talking about a game and making jokes and having fun with it. It's usually more comedy show than review. You see Hatok from KH13 making videos like that too, sometimes reviews and sometime just talking about whatever game related thing, and it's just more enjoyable that way.

Why do people even trust IGN? They only give good reviews to those who pay them to give good reviews

Nero Kunivas replied@Justin This guy's making a joke, possibly ground in reality, but his phrasing is in reference to an advertisement.
