  1. How and why would they do that?
  2. This is incorrect. Purebloods are born when someone loses themself to the darkness. That's why it's said that they are "the darkness of the heart". When someone succumbs to darkness, the darkness in their heart consumes their heart and they turn into a Pureblood Heartless. This is what happened to Sora, Xehanort, Scar, some Keyblade wielders from KHX, etc. Nomura said that there is absolutely no difference between Purebloods and Emblems besides the fact that Emblems are artificially created. Pureblood Heartless are people's hearts that have been devoured by darkness and Emblem Heartless are people's hearts that have been artificially forced to be devoured by Heartless, presumably by some scientific machine.
  3. No, the area of Castle of Dreams is called "Castle Town". There's a difference between world names and location names. The only world logo that appears in the entire game is "Dark World". The rest of the logos are just area/location names. The games have had area/location names pop-up when you enter a new location since KH2. And it has never been stated that the Realm of Darkness or Realm Between don't exist in the age of fairy tales. All we know is that all the worlds were still one, not the realms. In present-day, they still call the entire KH universe the "World". The "World" pretty much just means the entire universe/multiverse.
  4. In KH, if you ever look in the Journal/Reports or play with subtitles on, you'd know that "realm of darkness", "realm of light", "realm between", and "realm of sleep" are never capitalized, which always led me to believe that those are not the official names of the realms. That's just what all the characters call them. But, in 0.2BBS, the realm of darkness is called "Dark World", which I'm assuming is it's official name. Yen Sid, Aqua, Mickey, etc. still call it "realm of darkness", but in Reports in the game and marketing for the game and stuff, they call it "Dark World", so it definitely seems to be its official name. And in KHX, we learn about a realm called "Unchained". In Back Cover, we learn that this realm is made of "dreams", which obviously means its the realm of sleep. So, the realm of darkness' official name is "Dark World" and the realm of sleep's official name is "Unchained". What do you think the official names for the realm of light and the realm between are? "Light World" and "Between World"? lol
  5. No, there absolutely objectively is a traitor, because it says there's one in the Book of Prophecies. This is what leads me to believe though that the traitor is not way back in the age of fairy tales, but instead in the present-day.
  6. Post your theories below about who you think it the traitor and why, and I will edit this post to include them. Theories that I've thought of: There is no traitor, it was all just a set-up by the Master of Masters. The Master of Masters is the traitor, because he set them all up (this one is sort of just another way to interpret the first theory). They're all the traitor, because they all turned against each other at some point (just another way to interpret the first theory). Luxu is the traitor, because the Lost Page talks about an inevitable betrayal by "the one who bears the sigil" and Luxu is the only one with an "x" in his name (presumably. The Master of Masters' name might be "X Super", so he could be a candidate for the traitor as well.) Saix/Isa is the traitor. Who ever said the Book of Prophecies was talking about an inevitable betrayal in the age of fairy tales? Maybe it was talking about a betrayal in the future (present-day)? All of the Seekers of Darkness "bear the sigil", but the person I can most likely see betraying Xehanort is Saix/Isa. Aced is the traitor. "The one who bears the sigil" could be a bear pun, because Aced has a bear mask. This one seems silly, but the Master of Masters is very silly sometimes, so who knows. The Player is the traitor, because we are told by the Master of Masters that if there's a Nightmare Chirithy, it belongs to the traitor. The only person we know to have a Nightmare Chirithy is the Player. (It could've just been a part of the Master of Masters manipulating them and setting them up though of course).
  7. If you didn't know, "End of Sea" is a world that's half in the Realm Between and half in the Realm of Darkness. The Dark Margin is a part of this world. According to the Director's Secret Report XIII, the Dark Margin is the tip of End of Sea. The ocean that's a part of End of Sea is the border between the Realm Between and the Realm of Darkness. End of Sea has never been officially named "End of Sea", that's just what it was called in the KH2 game files, but the Kingdom Hearts website was just updated and has a new "worlds" section, and in this worlds section, End of Sea is listed as a world. It's nice to finally see End of Sea being recognized as an official world. It even has it's own world icon.
  8. Yeah, I think this is probably it. I really hope they clear it all up in KH3 though, because I'm pretty sure there isn't a single person who knows absolutely for sure how it all works.
  9. Sora did leave his body behind willingly though. When he stabbed himself with the Keyblade of heart in KH1 and turned into a Heartless. And it was never stated anywhere that you have to leave you body behind willingly to time travel, it was just simply stated you need to leave your body behind. I have absolutely no idea what you're trying to say.
  10. I understand time travel in Dream Drop Distance for the most part, but there's always been this one thing that I don't really understand. in the game, we are told that the Robed Figure passed on the ability to time travel to Young Xehanort, so that Young Xehanort doesn't have to get rid of his body or something like that. I was confused as to how you can just simply "give" someone the ability to time travel, so I looked into it. I found a Nomura interview where he says this: "to transcend time one must ‘first’ discard their form. As a result of the actions of the Brown Robed Figure, they all were in a state where they had gained the power to transcend time. The Brown Robed Figure explains the facts. The thirteen were summoned at the same time, this time thanks to Young Xehanort who borrowed that power." What does this mean exactly? Am I the only one who has no idea what he's saying here? Could it be the translation that's making it more confusing that it actually is, because I'm not sure what he's trying to say? It seems like he's saying that they all gained the ability to time travel because the Robed Figure was Xehanort reduced to just a heart, but how does that make it so they all have the ability to time travel? Sora and Riku have both been reduced to just a heart before, but they can't just randomly time travel as they please, they need Yen Sid's magic in order to time travel. I thought that you actually need to be a heart while you're time travelling, because that's what Yen Sid said, but Nomura's making it sound like all you need to do in order to be able to time travel is you have to have been just a heart once in your lifetime. That seems way too OP. Plus, it completely contradicts what Yen Sid said. Since this is the case, it makes me believe that's not really what Nomura's saying here, so is there any other way to interpret what he's saying? EDIT: After doing some more digging, I found this in the KH Ultimania: "Discarded his body and became able to travel through time. Traveled back in time to the Destiny Islands and gave Young Xehanort some of his own power. Due to discarding his body and becoming the Robed Figure, all incarnations of Xehanort gained the ability to travel through time. However, the only ones actually able to do so were the Robed Figure and the one he had given his power to, Young Xehanort." I guess it sort of works like how Keyblades work. Just because you have the ability to wield a Keyblade, doesn't mean you have a Keyblade/doesn't mean you know how to summon a Keyblade.. Similarly, just because you have the ability to time travel, doesn't mean you can time travel/doesn't mean you know how to time travel. And what the game really meant by "the Robed Figure gave Young Xehanort the ability to travel through time" is "the Robed Figure shared some of his powers with Young Xehanort". So, it all makes sense...I guess? It "makes sense" in a very Kingdom Heartsy kind of way lol EDIT: Just found this interview with Nomura. What he says he throws me back into confusion: "Nomura: First off, when Young Xehanort made contact with the Brown Robed Figure, that is to say, the Xehanort who called himself Ansem, his abilities were transferred to him. As a result of Master Xehanort tossing his physical body, he was able to exceed time, and this power was carried into the Brown Robed Figure. Thus when Young Xehanort made contact with him, he gained this power. Possessing this power. Young Xehanort functioned as a “portal”, summoning Xemnas and Ansem each time they appeared. That’s why Young Xehanort was there whenever they appeared. Additionally, when Sora and Riku dropped into the worlds of sleep, simultaneously Young Xehanort himself goes into the world of sleep.' I have no idea what Nomura is saying at this point. I really really really hope this gets cleared up in KH3.
  11. No Disney movies are "too new" to be in Kingdom Hearts III as of currently, because Nomura said that there are still worlds that they haven't begun working on at all and that remain completely untouched. (Source.) So, this means that Moana, Zootopia, The Good Dinosaur, etc. all have a chance.
  12. Do you think the Princesses of Heart could be the Key to Return Hearts? We don't know exactly what it is, but judging by it's name, it has the ability to return someone's heart, whatever that means. This reminds me of the time in KH1 when Kairi hugged Sora's Heartless and was able to bring him back to his regular self. One could say she "returned his heart" back to normal. Nomura said she was able to do this because she has special Princess of Heart light powers. So, maybe the Princesses of Heart can be used to create some kind of Keyblade, like how their hearts were used to create the Keyblade of heart? Maybe the Keyblade of heart is the Key to Return Hearts? It never got an official name, so maybe that's it's official name? The whole thing that made the Keyblade of heart special was that it had the ability to unlock people's hearts, but later in the series, we discover that Keyblade Masters have the ability to unlock hearts, so that makes the Keyblade of heart not seem special anymore. It's sort of special because it allows people who aren't Keyblade Masters to unlock people's hearts, but that isn't really that special or impressive. So maybe the true purpose of the Keyblade of heart is that it can also return people who have succumbed to the darkness back to their original selves? Or maybe it can just "return hearts" in general, which means it can do loads of things? Like being able to make Ven's heart return to his body for example. EDIT: The Keyblade of heart is also special because it also acted as the χ-blade to Ansem, Seeker of Darkness' artificial Kingdom Hearts.
  13. Kairi isn't the princess of Radiant Garden. She's a Princess of Heart.
  14. It's still Winter. Winter doesn't end until March 20th.
  15. Yeah, that would actually make a lot of sense. At first I thought "but that Xemnas scene takes place in KH2", but then I realized that it was a flashback. Yeah, that would definitely explain the Namine situation. EDIT: But wait, if this is the Namine from when she was just born, then how does she know about Terra or any of the other characters? EDIT: Since Namine is just a heart in the present-day, maybe she traveled back in time to help Terra? She's just a heart, so she could time travel.
  16. Both Toontown and Kingdom Hearts are very nostalgic to me, so having Cogs in KH would be awesome, but I highly doubt they'd do that. Toowntown is hugely irrelevant.
  17. Devil's Wave is just a group of shadows working together. It seems like they become a hivemind when they form together.
  18. Probably just his general skills. It's another way to make us start from the beginning in KH3 and not have all our abilities from the previous games.
  19. Nomura said that there's worlds that they haven't even started making yet, so I'd say nothing is "too new" as of currently.
  20. It's fine lol. Yeah, Luxu does sound a bit like Noctis. His voice hasn't changed though, he always sounds like that.
  21. He's not an adult at the end and doesn't sound like Ray Chase.
  22. They don't have the same voice. They sound nothing alike. The Master of Masters is voiced by Ray Chase and Luxu is voiced by Max Mittelman.
