    Well for one thing Disney owns a major part of the title, do I doubt Square Enix would ditch them. If fact, it's more likely to be the other way around, with Disney ditching Squire Enix considering how things are going since Disney is the bigger company. And I personally would not ditch the Disney part cause that's were a lot of the charm of the series comes from and Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are pretty major characters that appear quite regularly with two of them always in your party. And I would not trade that for anything. It's fine as it is.

    Yeah this is kinda scary. I don't like it. Star Wars and Marvel were different cause they were not a whole studio. But this is really not good.

    Yeah I might have phrased that wrong. I don't think the characters are bad either, just a lot of them are not going to their full potential and they come off as weak because of it. I think BBS is a great example of this for multiple characters (like I don't necessarily hate Terra but I have a lot of issues of how he is written). It looks like to me that they are intertwining the original plot more with the Disney plots at least a little more with this installment. We actually see the main bad guys there instead of just seeing cut scenes of them between worlds. But we shall see how that plays out.

    I love this series but I am heavily critical of it at the same time. I am to most of the things that I love. So I really hate the mindset that if you love something you are blind to it's flaws. That's not really healthy. Your comment about most of the characters having a great concept but bad execution made me think about not just Kingdom Hearts but other franchises as well, cause this could be said about a lot of them for at least one character. And some of these characters are fan favorites due to concept alone because fans then fill in the blanks by themselves without it really being in the canon. I really do think the Disney stuff and Final Fantasy stuff should have more of a presence. Disney takes up like 85% of the game so it really should not be filler. Final Fantasy characters could have more of a role too. I feel they could have both complex and interesting original characters with an interesting, not confusing plot while also expanding on the Disney and Final Fantasy side if they set their minds too it. It does seem like KH3 is at least somewhat improving on Disney worlds it seems like Final Fantasy is gonna keep up with just having cameos.

    I think I more or less agree with what everyone said. Though I would like to add that I did not particularly like most of the worlds in BBS. All of them were just really empty. Like I know that's been a complaint with like every KH game but for that game it was extremely noticeable. I know it was a hand held game first but come on, there were a lot of worlds that would have been great (like Enchanted Domain, Deep Space) if they were on a mainstream game. DDD had somewhat the same problem too. But yeah Atlantica in KH2 was so weird. I don't think I hate it as much as others but making that world a mini game world was a strange choice and it's just really cringy at times. Like I'm completely fine with mini-game only worlds, like I actually like the 100 acre woods, but it just did not work for Atlantica.

    That and now there are new lights of heart and we don't really know what that means. Are there two groups of pure hearts are did the others ones just disappear? Is Kairi now the member of three groups? She must be super busy.

    Since someone mentioned Skyward Sword, I actually really liked that game. Sure, it might not be the best but I really liked a lot of aspects about it. Although I don't think there is a Zelda game I particularly hate.

    That and there are younger people who can't get all the games cause they don't have the money (yes, children play the game). I think it would be OK for people to just watch videos on Youtube if they want to fully enjoy the experience. I'm still not gonna play the mobile game.

    Yeah most likely a retcon. I'm gonna guess Nomura didn't really know who would be the thirteen seekers of darkness were gonna be and he just kinda made it up on the spot. It honestly sounds like your complaining about an opinion that differs from your own. Or your against criticism in general. Like I love this series but I'll be one of the first to admit it has major flaws. And having half of the new organization just be original members seems really lazy to me (especially when it contradicts what was said before). And Nomura is already adding new characters in the mobile game anyway so I don't think it's beyond the possibility that they could introduce new ones in KH3. The series obviously makes it up as it goes along, they don't really plan ahead that much. These are not really new criticisms.

    I really find Tangled and Frozen overrated (though at least with Frozen that's not really an unpopular opinion nowadays). I just can't get into them and don't really get why they are so popular that one gets a sequel and another a TV series. None of them really did anything that new. I don't know if I really hate any Marvel movies, at least I don't hate any of the popular ones that did well critically (I have not seen Infinity War yet) but I do find some of the characters overused (like I like Iron Man enough but does he need to be in EVERY Marvel movie, and sometimes he takes the spotlight away from other characters (most notably in Caption America: Civil War and the Avengers films). Also relating to Kingdom Hearts, I find Xehanort kinda a boring villain and I don't like how he overly complicates everything. The best thing about him is his voice and his style.

    My biggest problem with Marluxia and Larxene being in the new organization is that they already betrayed the original one, so it just seems really weird that they are having Xehanort trust them enough to add to his new one. Then again, the game is not out yet so they will hopefully explain it. Plot twists have always been a mixed bag for me so we shall see. I just have a feeling the wayfinder trio are all in pretty big trouble though.

    That's why Sora is my favorite character and I sure hope they don't change their mind and they stop making him the protagonist. It always kinda makes me sad when people don't like him and want characters like Riku or Roxas to be the main character (I say those two cause those are the ones I see the most as people wanting to be the main protagonist) and I just don't think it would work. I mean, Roxas was my favorite and I still love him but I think Sora grew on me more as time went on and I got older. He gives me a lot of the same feelings as some of my favorite Disney characters do. He's like a perfect combination between anime and Disney hero. Probably why I enjoy Dream Drop Distance over Birth By Sleep despite it's plot being....well yeah. It's an unpopular opinion but I just enjoy Sora's character more. I do also have a lot of issues with the series despite my love for it. For me, I could honestly care less about the overall plot. I mostly care about the characters and visiting Disney worlds and having fun (I also don't like when people slam the Disney stuff as being childish or whatever, like why are you playing the game then? It's 75 to 85% of the game they are not gonna get rid of it. It's still a Disney game whether you like it or not.). That's why them saying the ending is gonna be dark kinda worries me.

    I really don't want the worlds to take too long either. One of the problems with open world games. It would be nice to have them a little bit longer than some of the past games, but I really don't wanna spend like 12 hours in one world for the main story line at least.

    I love a lot of the side games (I mostly call them that cause they are non numbered and started out on handhelds) and I do think people at least need to give them a chance. The series is extremely experimental with both game play and story, and the side games are great examples of this. Each game is a different experience. Sure, sometimes some of the experiments don't work, but when it works it really works. I do sometimes agree with some people though that not every game needs to have important story elements that ties into the main story line that you need to play (or watch) in order to understand the story. Especially when they are all on different consoles. That's a lot for a casual gamer or one with not a lot of money to keep up with. Now I know they are all on one console now but that was not the case before. Like I would still get the game even if it was just a one off story that focused on something else other than the main plot because it's Kingdom Hearts. Like Union Cross is probably a fine game but did it have to be connected to KH3 in anyway? It's a phone game that unless your a hardcore fan you would probably ignore. It should of had it's own self contained story, like they originally said it would. But other than that I think people should give the other games a chance. They might end up liking them.

    I guess it just depends. Maybe they'll show just how he got everyone under control? That would be interesting since he (along with Saix) at first glance seems like the most loyal. So it would be a good twist. But another thing is would the betrayer betray Xehanort for the good side, or would they do it for their own purposes?

    If either Sora or Kairi die I would be extremely angry not only cause it would make me sad but if either of them dies it would seem like the developers just trying to be edgy and/or be motivation for other characters. It would just seem....a little off to me. I would not like Lea or Roxas dying either cause it already happened, with Lea "dying" like twice. The only characters I think would "fit" having a death would be Riku or any of the Wayfinder trio. Don't get me wrong, I would be upset about anyone dying, but those are the characters I feel would, I don't know, make more sense to die? Like it would fit in their character arcs or something?

    In all honesty, I feel logically they would all betray him. I don't see any of them really wanting to just become Xehanort's puppet.

    I actually quite like Xion and I think she gets a lot of undeserved hate. I do understand some of the problems with her, like her being kinda repetitive (WHO ELSE IS SORA?) and a little plot baity, she is still one of my favorite characters. I felt more for her then, let's say Terra (who's an OK character but something about him did not grab me). Xion got a decent story arc as well. I really do hope she gets another appearance.

    I don't know if I have any fears per say, but there are some things I am a little nervous about. Most of these have to do with the overall plot: - The story ends up being extremely confusing and convoluted, random plot twists, random new characters popping up to add unneeded conflict and storyline (OK, this is not too back if it's just a little cameo or something to hint at a coming game, but if it's for plot in KH3 I think that would be a little much) - The problem with too many characters is that some will most likely not get the screen time and/or development that they need. Like I'm OK with some of the characters only having cameos (like some of the old organization) but if characters like Kairi and Lea get shoved into the background I'm gonna be kinda angry, especially with Kairi cause she really needs more development or I dunno SOMETHING. -A a slightly smaller worry, that Hercules is the only 2D Disney movie to get a world.

    I'm kinda surprised Hercules never got a direct to video/DVD sequel. Since I'm pretty sure every movie from the Renaissance got at least one, even Hunchback and Pocahontas. But I guess it did get a TV series. It would be cool to see a lot of these get movies if they got the big budget treatment to go to theaters.

    We got a lot in the month of June. Three trailers (four if you count the orchestra trailer), two new world reveals, the full Japanese theme song, release date, plot information, many interviews etc. That's quite a bit so it's not like we are in a drought so I was not expecting much. But I would not worry too much about it. They did say we have more trailers coming our way in the coming months, so one will surely pop up sometime I'm gonna guess either August or September.
