There will never be a meme that angers me more than "I'm really feeling it." And yes, I'm Shulk so that probably sounds weird, but it's not.
Shulk repliedEver since Shulk's Smash Bros reveal trailer, a lot of discussions about Xenoblade/Shulk have just had "HA I'M REALLY FEELING IT" spammed far too often. It's not clever, and most people don't even try to find some way to implement. It's just a meme that's shoehorned into anything related to Xenoblade because it sounded funny in Smash Bros.
Shulk repliedI know, although a lot of us old-time Xenoblade fans get really irritated by it since that's all that a lot of people took out of Shulk being in Smash. Not interest in trying his game or learning about his character, just one quote that people seem to think describes his character entirely.

admittedly I've never played Xenoblade but I do know the characters fairly well (I lovingly refer to Dunban and Alvis as Dad and Pissbaby respectively) and it's a shame that people wouldn't even make an effort to understand his character. It's just sad in general when people only simplify a character to one trait... (I'm looking at Marluxia and Demyx for this one)
Shulk repliedThat's what bothers me personally. It seems like a lot of people think he's a typical happy-go-lucky protagonist thanks to his "catchphrase" and his underwear costume, but there's so much more to him and Xenoblade as a whole than what Smash presents people. It's fine if they don't want to look into the game, but "I'm really feeling it" is pretty much a good example of what frustrates Xenoblade fans about the Smash fanbase's idea of him.
Veemon repliedIt's merely funny to me, but yeah, it can get annoying. I've only ever heard Shulk say "I'm feeling it." in the actual Xenoblade. He didn't even sound all that excited either. He's a lot more serious than people taking him for. But in the end, all Smash 4 fighters have memes. Believe me. ALL of them.

Shulk replied@Pangoro It's not so bad when it's used in a clever way, but at this point, I've just come to find it irritating in general. I completely lost focus in an online mission in X when my friend's character shouted that mid-battle.
@Xamtehwt I know this one was a joke, but you'd be surprised how often people will seriously just say that as a response to my statuses with no context whatsoever. *Sigh*

How is the Lea vs. Saïx showdown going to be dramatic? Saïx got destroyed by a dying half-powered Roxas, while Axel managed to beat Xion while she was absorbing Roxas's strength. Frick man are those muscles just for show?
Shimmy repliedI'd scarcely describe Lea as emotional but I do agree that it will be intense in an emotional sense that I am hyped for (this status was mainly meant to poke fun at Saïx's laughable battle capacities) and I entirely agree that Lea would be reluctant to fight Saïx. Interestingly so since Berserker is kind of implied to be Saïx's emotional cathartic release seeing as how he actually had a heart all this time but was oblivious to the fact, it might be possible that Saïx would actuall...

*I think seeing as how Berserker seems to be an emotional cathartic release, Saïx will probably be stronger then usual when fighting Lea, because it's very clear in days that he meant a lot to him. So yes I am super excited for this battle- Saïx's sucky battle skills or not B)

My love for story in video games started with Paper Mario: the thousand year door. It is the game that established my love for story in video games. Kingdom Hearts 2 pushed my love for story in video games even higher!

So as it turns out, the book that I chose to ready for an American Literature class was written by an Australian author and printed in U.K. And the book reports are due on the 19th. So unless my teacher lets me go through with the report, I'm practically guaranteed an F.
Pangoro "Sen" repliedNope. When we went into the library to check out a book, there were several on display specifically for us. When I picked the book up, I had assumed that because it was with the rest of the books it was an American novel. If I just tell my teacher that, she should let me go on with the report. If not, she's kinda not a nice person.

@Javelin It's American Literature, and I did not pick an American book, even though it was amongst other American books that were on display as American books.
@Sabre Lily Sure, but I also would have to write a report and create a visual aid for that book. Plus the book has to be at least 200 pages.

There's this box that I have to fill in but i don't know what. Can someone help me with this?
