Guys, I've decided that I'm going to replay tales of graces f when I finish all the other tales of games that I haven't played yet. :)

    Soravids replied

Yay! I love that game. :)

I think I'm going to skip the cutscenes in graces f because the gameplay is more important then the story.

Is it me or do Storm Troopers have really bad targetting and aiming skills with firearms?

    Soul_Seeker replied

People have noticed that long before you did. In fact, they miss so much that Donald is more useful than them.

    Rob replied

Rob can verify that people in the 70's-80's noticed that, hence how the joke originated.

    catmaster0116 replied

Ah I see. I thought it strange how there was a whole army of white armoured soldiers firing at a bunch of people and they still somehow manage to miss. Although I do recall a scene where one of the main characters wears the armour and comments at how difficult it is to see in the helmet.

    Xiro replied

Also MC Plot Armor grants high Evasion

So, are the fragments of light from the χ-Blade really the hearts of the Princesses of Hearts? Or is it just fan thory?

    Isamu Kuno replied

Yeah, but he says "protect" not "become".

    Isamu Kuno replied

It's just I'm trying to prove this to someone and pointed out that scene and he brought up that it doesn't actually say that the became the hearts.

    HarLea Quinn replied

The light fragments went into the PoH to protect their hearts. This is also been confirmed by Nomura btw

    Isamu Kuno replied

Link me please so I can finally prove to this guy he's wrong. At least about that. We're also arguing about the Reincarnation theory, but that I know we only have hints at. Strong hints, but this hints.

    Isamu Kuno replied

Though I rally don't know how both those things could coincide because Kairi.

    HarLea Quinn replied

I would have to go search -this was from when DDD was released. It's why MX is targeting the PoH in the first place. It's why there are 7 PoH and 7 light pieces of Xblade. As for Kairi she became one the same way the others did - I imagine when PoH grow old and die the heart is reborn somehow.

    Isamu Kuno replied

But she can't be both, the Princesses hearts where part of the x-Blade before the Keyblade War, so Kairi's heart can't have been Ava's heart.

    HarLea Quinn replied

I'm not saying she's Ava. I'm saying since she's a PoH -when she dies a new PoH would have to be born or the stability of the world is in danger. The keyblade War was ancient - all the PoH can't still be alive from that long ago so this suggests they seem reborn somehow

    HarLea Quinn replied

Kairi did not exist back when the first war happened yet shes a PoH.

    Isamu Kuno replied

I know, but part or the Reincarnation theory is that Kairi is Ava reincarnated. You're right the Princesses didn't exist back in the Keyblade War, they weren't anyone, so they cant be reincarnations. That's my point.

    HarLea Quinn replied

I think we are on the same page with that. Unfortunately we don't have enough info on how this works yet.

    Isamu Kuno replied

I suppose it could be that, rather than BECOMING their hearts, the fragments of light fond their way INTO sever hearts that already existed, and as a result, cleansed them of all Darkness....

    Isamu Kuno replied

But yeah, if you have time and happen to come across the article I'd still like to see it. No big deal though.

    HarLea Quinn replied

Maybe possibly- but the light fragments stayed with said hearts to protect them. Maybe after they die they repeat that process over and over.

    HarLea Quinn replied

If I have time- I'm in the midst of christmas baking, last minute shopping, and other holiday errands I need to get done that I put off bc i've been sick.

    Isamu Kuno replied

Trust me, I know how you feel. I've been Christmas shopping for 3 weeks and had a stomach bug this weekend.

    HarLea Quinn replied

    Hope you feel better!

    Isamu Kuno replied

    I do now.

It also sucks that my BF moved a little farther away so now it's harder to get together. It's only 40 minutes away, but in this area 40 min is 100 mi

    HarLea Quinn replied

Well at least you can still enjoy the holidays with someone you love :)

    Isamu Kuno replied

Actually, I can't. We cant see each other until New Years Eve because neither of us drive and our families are busy

    Isamu Kuno replied

Yeah. Someday, this won't be an issue. We'll see each other every day when we get home.

    Isamu Kuno replied

Oh, jeez, listn to this guy now

Once again, you have made an assumption and acted on it. We're told the light of the χ-blade was initially split to protect the seven princesses at one time. We are not told that those lights are still doing so to this day. For all we know, the lights could have expired or perished. It is another unknown mystery yet to be answered.

    Isamu Kuno replied

Aww damn. I checked out the KH info block and still couldn't see where Nomura said the light from the X-Blade became the hearts of the seven princesses Hearts. Are you sure he confirmed it Lea?

    HarLea Quinn replied

Yes I'm sure and he said they were the light fragments so you take that as you will. KHinfo block gathers interviews from other sites and sources but they are missing several.

    Isamu Kuno replied

It just seems to be everywhere bit I cant find the source... It's aggravating

    HarLea Quinn replied

I couldn't find the interview where he was talking about Xemnas being the strongest being in the KH universe either and I know for a fact that existed. It's annoying.

    Isamu Kuno replied

I hate being a Scorpio sometimes. It can make me be vindictive about petty things. That guy is tryign to Drag me back in, I want to prove him wrong, without waiting two years. But at the same time, letting him think he's won for that long only to prove he was wronng when the game comes out... hmm. But then he'd just say I made a lucky guess. Ugh.

    HarLea Quinn replied

The minute he said there is no such thing as a keyblade of heart you already won xD

    Isamu Kuno replied

Apparently I "misread" his comment. He was supposedly just saying that, just because the Keyblade of Heart didn't exist pre-Keyblade War, doesn't mean the Princesses didn't and that I was just "assuming" that was the case...

    HarLea Quinn replied

lmao but does he not get that he himself is assuming and has offered no proof of anything? He also seems to lack simple knowledge on some basic lore.

    HarLea Quinn replied

Like how the PoH came to exist in the first place :P

    Isamu Kuno replied

He's saying there's no proof they didn't exist before the Keyblade war he's saying that existed at the time and that they where and his "proof" is that Yen Sid said "Protect" not "become" which somehoe unequivocally prove that they are separate enteties.

    HarLea Quinn replied

So yep hes assuming while accusing you of assuming. Does he not know how the PoH came to exist?

    Isamu Kuno replied

Sounds like according to him they always have

    Isamu Kuno replied

Like I said, he's claiming Yen Sid's words are proof that the Princesses existed during the Keyblade War

    Isamu Kuno replied

Not as the same individuals, but the group iself

    HarLea Quinn replied

That's not what Yen Sid said and thats not proof. Just wow.lol

    Isamu Kuno replied

I know, all he said was "And the light from the broken Keyblade was then divided into seven, to protect the number of pure hearts in the world" But he keeps clingign to the word "Protect" as his proof. But right after that Mickey says "Seven pure lights... they're the Princesses of Heart!"

If he wants to play semantics, I'd like to see how he responds to Mickey specifically saying Lights.

    HarLea Quinn replied

yep! This is why i don't argue with idiots on youtube- they don't know what they are talking about, ignore real proof, and also some know they are wrong and are just trolling.

How long? How long must it take for the truth to be told to them? How long will it be before Sora, RIku and Kairi are told the truth? They have been told, but why? Why so long? Why was it kept from them? WHy must it have taken so long for them to know their predecessors by name?

Find out when you come out in 2017. Hopefully.

  11. Exiblade7 posted a status update

Why I HATE tales of Graces f 1. The story sucks 2. The gameplay SUCKS. 3. The music sucks 4. the bosses are too hard

    Elrandir replied

While I disagree with everything you said, I think that maybe you should practice and level up a little. The bosses are not that hard (maybe a little in the Future Arc) but that's just me. I played the game in both Evil and Chaos modes after leveling up for a while. Again that's just my opinion.

    KingdomHearts3 replied

Do not judge something until you get the hang of it or because it seems too hard or you are having a bad time with it.

    Exiblade7 replied

I tried to understand tales of graces' battle system, but to me, it's too complicated

    Shuy replied

Every tales of battle system takes a while to understand imho. Same way with the Skill system in ToZ.

    Elrandir replied

I remember that too. Getting used to Asbel's style was hard, but I got it in the end. But every Tales of game is like that. Zestiria also has a weird battle system, Xilia 1 and 2 are the same.

    KingdomHearts3 replied

Then that's no excuse to say it sucks. I mean, look how complicated the KH battle system has become with KH3. Does that mean it sucks? No it doesn't. Your response to a complicated and complex battle system is, to put it bluntly, immature.

    Exiblade7 replied

the kh battle system is a totally different story.

    Exiblade7 replied

I just don't like it when games try to do something different when there's nothing wrong with it's previous interrogations. It's like fixing something that isn't broken.

    KingdomHearts3 replied

That doesn't matter and is not the point. The point is, it has a complex system now, right? That doesn't mean it sucks. A game that has a complex battle system does not make it horrible. Now, if it were broken and it is making you choose things you don't want it to or act as though someone hacked it and is acting haywire, then it sucks. It doesn't suck because you don't like it or it seems to complicated for you.

    Shuy replied

They are different games. It could be said the other way around: two different games with the same stuff are boring and repetitive.

    Elrandir replied

You can't have a new game being the same as a previous one. Take for instance every Tales game. Each and every one of them brought something new in terms of gameplay.

    Exiblade7 replied

yes, I know, but graces f completely changed everything

    Exiblade7 replied

Tales of Graces f is like a totally different kind of game from the rest of the tales of series

    Exiblade7 replied

KingdomHearts3 so my opinion is invalid basically

    Elrandir replied

Just like Zestiria change it AND surely Tales of Berseria, and every future game, will do.

    KingdomHearts3 replied

Invalid? I beg to differ. I believe it's judgment with no base. If you can figure it out and it doesn't act haywire or doesn't do things that you don't want it to do, then you will not be right in saying "it sucks". If it does that stuff and people of say Gameinformer say the same thing, then you have base and can say "it sucks".

    Exiblade7 replied

I just don't like how the game plays

    Elrandir replied

Then Tales of Graces F is not a game for you, and that is fine. Not everyone has to like the game.

    KingdomHearts3 replied

I am not a fan of how Re:coded plays and even though I have not played Re:CoM, by the looks of the card system, it looks interesting, but I am not fond of it. That does not mean they are terrible games. They are okay with pretty nice stories. The systems for both are not atrocious and they work; that's what matters.

    KingdomHearts3 replied

And like what Elrandir said, the games must not be right for you. That may also be another reason why you are frustrated.

    Elrandir replied

Yeah. So if you find it hard then, just put the easiest difficulty and play the game that way.

Personally I find it satisfying to beat a game on hard mode.

    Exiblade7 replied

the change that graces brought was not to my liking, but the change/difference that previous and future tales of games brought I really liked

    KingdomHearts3 replied

If you are that dedicated, then do not give up on the series because of complicated battle systems. That's a bad way and a poor excuse for jumping off the train. Have determination and willingness to learn and persevere. You may end up changing your attitude because of it.

    Exiblade7 replied

I don't remember what difficultly I put graces f on (it's either was on easy or normal. I most likely picked normal mode) and it was pretty hard, if I remember correctly

    KingdomHearts3 replied

I defer back to my previous comment and once again say it. Persevere and learn. Your outlook may change because of effort.

    Elrandir replied

I agree with KingdomHearts3. Keep trying and learn.

    Exiblade7 replied

yeah, maybe I should do that, but I've never played a game that was THAT challenging for the first time before. Maybe that's what made me get that kind of perspective on graces. Its's so challenging that I may have to start off the game again with a new plate. I didn't have to do that with the other tales of games

    Exiblade7 replied

I'm going to get Tales of Zestiria soon and I've heard that it's going to be like graces f. Maybe this game will probably chance my perspective on graces f.

    KingdomHearts3 replied

Now that is an adult way of looking at it. Good for you. You are learning to grow up and control your emotions. I as a college student am learning myself and have been tested, but I have passed them by the grace of God. You are learning too.

    Soravids replied

Tales of Graces F is great dude... Don't write off a game you've barely started.

    Soravids replied

At least complete it before judging it.

    Exiblade7 replied

I did complete the game and I'm thinking about playing it again to see if my opinion of the game changes or not.

    KingdomHearts3 replied

Well then, there you go. You managed to complete it. There is your antithesis for your thesis.

    Exiblade7 replied

what's different about graces f is that each character has their own unique playstyle while in previous tales of games and games that I've played, it was basically press "press the attack button to win". graces f changed all of that. I was used to the "press the attack button to win" playstyle, which explains why I was so frustrated with graces f's battle system.

    Elrandir replied

    In Zestiria is the same.

Each character has their own style. Some are fast and some are slow, so "pressing attack to win" is not going to work, I can assure you of that.

    Soravids replied

That's cause you play on normal mode. Play on hard and it's not "press the attack button to win".

    Soravids replied

@Elrandir and that's what I love about ToZ. That and the characters, music, story, etc...

    Enix replied

    This status thread is hilarious.

    Soravids replied

    That's true, Lucky.

    Exiblade7 replied

@Elrandir yeah, i'll keep that in mind. I'll put the game on easy mode since I really need to learn how the game plays, for both graces f and Zestiria. I may end up liking it at the end, but I think I'll always prefer games like xillia 1 because I can basically freehand the game, if you know what I mean

    Exiblade7 replied

@soravids yeah, you can say that for mostly all action rpgs

@Luke: Tales of Symphonia 2 had different ways of fighting for every fighter, specially Emil and Marta, who were the ones who more complete battle styles had.

By the way, I didn't like Tales of Graces F, I only played the begining, so I'm not one to talk, and I know it, but I might as well just leave my opinion of the game's start here XDDD

    Exiblade7 replied

I know, I mean that the different ways of fighting for Tales of Graces f was a little too much for me, at least at that time.

    Exiblade7 replied

I can handle their playstyles because they are easy to use. I can say that to every other tales of game i've played besides graces f

Kate Higgins' voice clips she recorded for Xenoblade X are actually pretty funny. They fit my second character perfectly. xD

    Xiro replied

    Second character? o.o

    Shulk replied

You get an option to recustomize your character later on. I decided to play around with that a bit. xD It's not really a second character.

    Xiro replied

Wait... So you changed your character's gender? xD

    Shulk replied

I decided to try making the main character of a game I've been planning for a few years now... Which did make things kinda awkward in that regard. xD I still have the design for my first character saved, too.

    Shulk replied

... Yes. xD This was actually my first character plan, but I changed my mind just before the game came out.

    Xiro replied
