Anyone here know if Tales of Xillia 1 and 2 are good games? That is, worth a combined total of $18? (They are currently on sale, and I'm wondering if I should get them, you see.)

Question for you geeks out there: Is 4 GB considered small or average for a laptop/pc? I need something that can run at least two art softwares without the memory crashing.
Daniel Black repliedMmm it depends of 3 factors combined, cpu speed, (more cores the better), ram memory (For today standars 4 is good, 6 is excellent and 8 is god) and the disk space. (512 GB - 720 do the magic) try to balance all of these 3 elements to make your own personal work, of course the max stuff involves much more money..

Fancier laptops can have 8 or more, but I'd say if you're planning on doing art on a laptop, it'd have to be something pretty high-end (you might as well just purchase a traditional desktop PC that's already sturdy). RAM and CPU are hugely important, as is the graphics card, which laptops usually aren't all that great with (it's also hard/impossible to upgrade the graphics card on a laptop).
Dracozombie repliedOh, it'd also depend on what kind of art you're planning to do. I think a traditional 4GB laptop could run, say, Photoshop, as long as the picture/file isn't too big. But if you're planning on doing something like 3D modeling (like in programs like Maya) then you really need to invest in something fancy.
Forever repliedNah, nothing like that. Just some typical Paint Tool Sai/ FireAlpaca type stuff. It seems like I'm fine until my laptop becomes full of works and pictures, that's when the memory starts acting up. I'm on a budget, so something like a Mac (which I've heard is really good for artists) is out of my range right now, but a PC would probably be good...I might do that.

Some KH fans are a little sad that KH 3D did not get a final mix? However in light of that, we got the (almost) forgotten KH BBS Vol 2. Do you think you would have wanted a final mix of KH3D or are you happy with KHBBS Vol 2 (which I know it's not really called that)

Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) repliedYes, he was hard (even though I think other Secret bosses, such as NoHeart (in the original BBSFM) and Lingering Will, are a lot harder), but I mean, he's not even a KH original character, he's got nothing to do with the story line, although I think it's better having Julius than nothing (like in CoM).

So, now that 2.8 have been officially revealed and is set for a Japanese release next year, think we'll see more of that at D23 alongside KH3 and Uχ?
