    Just realized something, I find it funny that people wouldn't believe me when I said that kingdom hearts 3 was going to be released to the public at D23 Japan, even with the evidence that indirectly supported it and at the end of the day, I ended up being right.

    There were factors which supported both views and neither was correct at the point you said it since no one but Disney and SE could no. First of all, D23 Japan had prior exclusive content. There were no announcements beforehand either. Or course it wouldn't make sense to withhold information but it's their decision.

    Another part is that there were both extremes and you were not the only one who believed that the trailers would be released to the public. This also isn't about who was right or wrong but rather that both sides had believable arguments. No offense, but I don't think there's any reason to go "I told you so" here when you could not be 100% sure either.

    you could argue that what SE did for that event in 2015 was their way of doing things. Just because they did it back then, didn't mean they were going to do it with D23 Japan this year. It happened years ago. It was possible for them to change how they did things by the time 2018 came

    Of course you are right. 2015 was by no means an event that was meant to set the standard for KH news. Not at all. I mean, 2015 could still be considered early development and what was shown back then would likely be more of a development update that just wasn't meant for everyone to be seen. A sort of gimmick. I just like to be on the safe side and thus supported both your side and the other. Both of you had convincing and valid arguments.

    I don't think anyone really wanted to crush your beliefs either, even if some found it hard to believe your view. I guess a lot were afraid something like in 2015 woukd occur again where the whole fanbase was basically in an uproar about news being hyped and then not showing it immediately. Which was pobably why they did not confirm anything to the public. Maybe they weren't even sure whar would be revealed yet. Who knows. xD
