I would love Roy coming back, since I am a fan of FE, and I would like Ryu because he is the first person I think of when I think of true fighting games like Street Fighter, and not Smash Bros.

Oh gosh the Hanzi/zhongwen will not be pleasant, the Chinese don't break the words up into phonetics like English or Japanese. So in Chinese its either you know the word, or you don't >_<. But if you learn it the Taiwanese way they have a phonetics system for their chinese which mirrors the system used in Japan
catmaster0116 repliedWell, chinese is taught differently depending on where you learn it - if you learn it from mainland china, they teach what is called 'simplified chinese' (which basically means they use less strokes for certain chinese characters) and they use english to spell out how a word sounds in simplified. In Taiwan, they teach traditional (i.e. original chinese) which is almost identical to those of Japanese Kanji, but the way its taught is via an alphabet pronunciation like the hiragana/katak...

(at least the Kanji does)I have also heard people say that once you know traditional, learning simplified will be piece of cake.
