A lot of people are speculating that Elma will probably be the main character of X in terms of the storyline, while Cross is sort of a way for players to feel more involved. They say that the two will be like Chrom and Robin from Fire Emblem: Awakening, if you've ever played that.

I've heard from people who did look into the Japanese version (Namely Reyn/BlazingArachnid) that comparing it to the first might make you a bit disappointed, although if you look at it as its own game in terms of the story, it's still a great game. They also did release a recent trailer in Japan showing off some story events, and it looks really cool so far. If you haven't seen that yet, I recomme...

I'll play Xenoblade Chronicles on PC too, considering it has an HD texture pack. So I'll be playing that game maybe 3-4 times, and my first playthrough is already nearing 100 hours.

Shulk repliedElma seems to be cool so far. I don't think I'll like her as much as I like Shulk, but she seems interesting. I'm liking the looks of the other party members, too.
Yeah, I've heard a lot about the HD version. I'm personally not a fan of emulators, but an HD version of the game sounds awesome. There's a ton of content in this game, I was really surprised when I first heard that it can take 70-100 hours to complete it!

I got a Lv. 3 Affinity in both Central Bionis and Hidden Village, because Monado Eater and Monado Armour are so good, but I was more interested in the story than getting sidetracked. I plan to 100% in New Game+, since my satisfaction for the story will be fulfilled.
Shulk repliedYeah, the Xeno series is pretty much like Final Fantasy in terms of how the games are related. It would have made more sense to not give X such a similar name to the original Xenoblade, but I think that Nintendo's just trying to make that new series name now that they own it. Set the new ones apart from the older games or something like that.

I may have completed less than half the Heart-to-Hearts, but I'll do that in New Game+ too.
And on the thing about Final Fantasy, that's why I tell people not to worry about the newer ones being so bad because of the old ones. New game, new universe, new characters... That's what makes it fun and unexpected in some ways! I'm sure Xenoblade X will deliver in that same great way! Although avoiding spoilers is killing me

That is true. While I have been kind of worried about XV, it is something that I've been warming up to lately, and I do plan to try it out at some point. What I heard about the demo made it sound interesting, and I would like to see how it all works in action.
